"Um- excuse me, is it okay if I sit here with you guys ?? I'm-"

"Hey! You're the new kid!! Sure join us-"

"But this is Fourth's seat- "

"Forget about him, it's not like that friend of yours wants to sit with us anyway. "

Gemini wanted to argue back, really wanted to but his friend wasn't wrong. The only reason why Fourth ever sat with Gem's group of friends was because of his best friend. Fourth had his own group after all, it's not like he'd end up being a loner without Gem.

"So what's your name ?"  One of the guys asked the 'new kid' as he sat down beside Gemini.

The 'kid' was quite tall, taller than Fourth. He had a wolf cut, tied up at the back of his head with a thin, black rubber band. His ears were pierced and his shirt wasn't tucked in even the slightest bit. Even though he was wearing the uniform like everyone else, it was as if he wore whatever he found at home and came to school without a single thought.

"A delinquent," Gemini silently agreed with himself.

"Oh- my name's Yukan. You guys can call me that or just use 'Yu' instead. It's really up to how comfortable you feel!"  He answered.

Compared to his appearance, Yu seemed to be quite the opposite when it came to his personality. He was amiable and likable. Throughout their conversation during the interval, Gemini couldn't help but let his mind drift off to Fourth," what could he be doing ? Did he eat ? With who ? Where is he now ?"

"-Gem!!!! GEM!!"

His train of thoughts was halted by Yu's husky but loud voice. "Huh-?" He asked.

"There's someone waving at you! Where were you lost-?? You didn't pay attention to our conversation at all di-"
Gemini didn't need to hear anymore. The moment he heard the first line, he stood up in  the blink of an eye and ran towards the said 'someone'.

"Sorry- did you wait long??" Gem asked with a grin.

"Not at all- let's go back to the class though. The bell's about to ring," Fourth answered back with a smile.

Yu stared at the pair walking together, "Are they usually this close ?"  He asked the guy sitting across from him, squinting his eyes.

"Who ? Gemini and Fourth ??"

"His name's Fourth ? "

"Well yeah- they're pretty close."
Yukan frowned at the answer,"This close? Are they dating or something??"

"I don't know man. What I know is that they're neighbours and practically grew up together. Gem doesn't really speak much about him."

"Mmm is that so,"  Yu hummed in response.

"Why-? Are you bothered ??"  The guy asked with stupid looking smirk which later turned to a genuine smile, "Fourth's not all that bad, you know. Yeah he's not really friends with us but doesn't bother us either."

"So basically you don't have any opinion on them," Yu said, raising an eye brow.

"Well- yeah if you put it that way," the guy answered with a blank look on his face, shrugging his shoulders.

"Neighbours, I see..." Yu thought to himself.

Gem and Fourth were home, their assignments were complete and now were planning to go out.
"Should we get something to eat -??" Fourth suggested.
