Alyssa POV
Mhm I groan turning off my alarm. I stretch out my body while getting of my bed. I look at the time it's 5 in the morning. "Are you fucking kidding me" I say I realized I woke up an hour early. I think to myself saying I could've had an extra hour of sleep.
I put on some my headphones and change into gym wear and head to the school gym to workout. I leave the dorm trying not to wake up Audre my best friend, we met at orientation and instantly clicked.
I go to the gym and start working out. I like working out in the mornings cause no one is here, I feel weird working out in front of other people.
I finish my workout and head back to my dorm. I walk in and see Audre is up she says "Good morning" I say "Good morning" to her and go get ready for class.
I'm studying law, it's always been my dream after watching legally blonde, I know stupid reasons but I want to help people and thought why not law.
I get dressed into a white turtle neck with a white and black plaid skirt I wear tights underneath the skirt. I put on my favourite black boots.
I pack up my laptop, books, pen and highlighter into my tote bag, I carry a light jacket because of the fall where I'm weather. I check the time it's 7:30 so I decide to go to nearby cafe close to campus with Audre.
We walk there, I order a Carmel macchiato, Audre orders a peach raspberry lemonade and 2 cake pops for us to share, I pay for the both of us and we find a table to sit down together. We talk about our classes and what they are going to be like.
8:30am
I check the time on my phone and realize I'm going to be late for my class. I tell Audre bye and head to my class. Campus is full of people pushing and shoving each other trying to get to class. I walk trying to avoid people I bump into someone. He shoves past me and tells me to watch where I'm going I scoff and roll my eyes getting to class . I made it at the nick of time. I head to the back of the class and take my seat, i look over the entire the class and see almost all the seats filled thank goodness no one is beside me, I can't handle talking to a stranger this morning. I put in my headphones and wait for the professor to come in.
I look up from my laptop and notice someone walk in, he see him walking towards me I pray he doesn't sit beside me. I hear his voice asking me if the seat beside me is taken, I look and notice it's the same person who shoved me, I tell him yes and he asks by who I tell him by me, he rolls his eyes at me and sits me I roll my eyes at him.
The professor walks in and starts the lesson. He paces in-front of the classes explaining to us his rules for the class telling us not to be late and explaining to us about handing in our assignments on time or don't even bother handing it in. I mumble under my breath saying this rules where stupid, the guy beside me laughs at my words I look at the professor hoping he didn't hear him.
The professor starts teaching explaining to us the basics of the legal system , I pay attention, typing my notes out not wanting to miss anything important. At the end the professor tells us to write a thousand word essay on the legal system telling us to write it in our own words, it's due on Wednesday he says as we pack up. I sigh packing up my stuff.
The guy beside me introduces himself telling me his name is Lucas, I respond saying my name is Alyssa as I leave the hall.
