Alyssa ( 10 years ago ) Finally summer break. It was warm and sunny and the best part no more school. I got of bed and got dressed into a white tank top and short.

Mom can i go over to Lucas house. "What ever happened to good morning mom or how was your night". "Sorry, Good morning, so can I go over". "Fine but eat your breakfast first". "Okay, thanks mom".
After stuffing down my breakfast I head over to Lucas house. I knock on his door and finally after what feels like 5 minutes, He opens the door.
"Hey stupid".I say with excitement in my voice
"What is wrong with you it's so early". He say tiredly "Dude it 2 in the afternoon". " Ugh, come in".
We head to his room which Is a bit messy but I don't mind. He heads to the washroom to change then he comes out in a hoodie and shorts on. "So what you wanna do".
"Sleep". "Dude come on It's finally summer, you can't just sleep all day".
"Fine we can go to the mall". "You drive".
"Of course I'm driving, I don't wanna die". "Hey, give me two years, then you'll see". We get into his car to head to the mall but we had to stop for coffee first. I had a caramel frappé and he had an iced coffee.
We got to mall and went straight to shopping. I got new clothes and shoes so did he.
He tried on some outfits and he looked great in them. He got me some shoes and so did I. We went to the food court and got some food.
"See shopping is fun". "Fine it's kinda fun". We talk and eat and walked around the mall some more then head home.
"Bye, thanks for the ride". "No problem, bye loser".
"Mom I'm home". "Honey we need to talk".
"What's wrong mom".
"No nothing is wrong but we are moving".
"What, why" I say concerned
"Me and your father got a great job in New York" "But mom, my friends,school and life is here".I say with tears in my eyes
"I'm sorry sweetie but it final we're leaving tonight, so get packing".
" Fine" I say pissed.
I run upstairs and start crying while I pack my bags. I couldn't say bye to Lucas my best friend. That day I cried so hard that I passed out but my mom woke me up at 2am to meet my dad at the airport.
