Chapte Thirteen

Sorry that I haven't updated in a while, I was doing my Duke of Edinburgh and haven't been feeling too good. I'm feeling a lot better and will be updating regularly, hopefully.

Ashleigh's POV

I woke up still really confused why James was acting so weird last night. I guess I'll find out tonight when I meet him. I decided to call Olivia, Nicola, Noreen, Jenna, Marjana and Billi to see what they were doing today. Marjana had plans with her family until tonight when she was getting Casey which was understandable. The rest of the girls were free, so we decided to have a girls day out in town. We went shopping and got our nails done. "Girls, James was acting really weird last night and I don't know why. I asked him to stay the night then he could get up early to leave to get the boys then he could get me afterwards. Do any of you have an idea what was up with him?" I asked. "I'm not suppose to say anything but he was out getting you a present, he came to me and told me what he was getting you but I'm not saying what." Jenna said. "Wait, why is he getting me a prese- SHIT! it's our 10 month anniversary." I remembered. "Yeahhh" all the girls said at the same time. "I've been so distracted recently with everything going on, I'm such an idiot. Girls, we need to do more shopping!" I raised my voice.

The girls and I had finished shopping for James' present that I was going to give him tonight. I got him a really expensive watch, I was sure that he would love it because he was always hinting for his birthday or Christmas. It was 5 o'clock and I decided to go home and get ready for tonight. I showered, dried my hair, straightened it and then decided to do my make up. My make up was just simple, I didn't want to over do it because I didn't actually know what we were doing. I applied foundation, a light brown eye shadow, mascara and a light lipstick. I got changed into my outfit for the night ( shown in side bar or top ). It was 7 o'clock and James picked me up. "Happy 10 month anniversary," he said "this is why I had to go last night, I had a feeling you would forget because of everything going on lately but its okay." He said pulling out the gift. It was a small tightly wrapped box. "Promise me, no matter what we will always be together through thick and thin?" "Yeah" I said blushing. It was a promise ring, I loved it so much!! "Thank you James," I said with a big grin on my face "and I haven't forgot, here is your gift." I gave him the box as he unwrapped it. "You got me the watch I haven't wanted for ages, thank you so much!" He said kissing me. "I love you James" "I love you too Ashleigh". The night was so perfect, we went go karting and for dinner at Nandos like he said.
