4 years later-

Eleanore has grown in the past four years she had been growing more and more each day. Even at the age of 5, she was brilliant, her tutors often would give her work from 2nd-year workbooks just to keep her busy and learning. She was becoming more herself in the past couple of years. She knew what she liked and enjoyed and definitely knew what she didn't. Her love for sports and learning grew while her etiquette and royal classes felt more of a chore. Eleanore knew why she had to have these classes but it didn't stop her from showing her dislike for them. Often times are late to these meetings and show little to no concern for the material being taught. of course, she would be reprimanded for being late but her excuse was always that she was just 5. Now as a 5-year-old her facial features were starting to show and she looked exactly like a mixture of Will and Kate, but it was her eyes that were arguably her best feature, icy baby blue eyes that would often turn green when frustrated or upset. Many spectators would comment on the young princesses' eyes stating that they could see into your soul, it made Eleanore even more of a fan favorite. She was silly, mischievous, and a daredevil clearly taking after her father, Charles always told Will that it was payback for all those years Will and Harry pulled pranks on him and the staff.

While it is normal protocol for royals to attend school instead of tutoring, the queen and Willam and Kate thought it was best if she would stay home and get tutored since she was far beyond her years. And while she didn't attend school she was a part of her school's after-care program to give the young princess a sense of routine and a way to make friends and experience somewhat of a normal childhood.

Eleanor's pov-

Today is my first day of kindergarten, well sort of I guess. Mama and Papa say that I will continue my lessons in the palace like usual but then I will go to an after-care to make friends. I'm excited and nervous. However, Papa says that they will love him. I hope so because it's getting boring being all by myself in class. But I must act brave, it is proper and what the future Queen would do. And yes I know I will be the future Queen of England, Granny has already told me what will happen to me as I get older and what will be expected of me.

Eleanore would soon start her first day of after-care in which she would meet some of her lifelong friends. At after-care, she had met a boy named James and a girl named Ella. Eleanore, James, and Ella became friends quite quickly and were known as the three musketeers. They did everything together, from playing, to reading and even telling secrets. The trio had back-to-back playdates on the weekends which made Will and Kate happy to know that their daughter would have somewhat of a normal childhood with friends.

Will and Kate's conversation-

" What will we tell Eleanore Will? It's been us three for five years she won't be ready for this change. " Kate said. In response, Will tells Kate "Don't worry darling She will be thrilled to have another sibling she was partly begging us for a baby after Christmas. Plus her friend James just had a sibling come into his life. She will be happy." "I know Will but I can't help but wonder and worry that she'll think we are replacing her." "Kate she won't feel replaced, she knows she will be the next Queen and can't be replaced, plus she needs someone else to play with. I'm getting quite tired of playing Pony with her. I must admit my back pain has been getting worse" Will chuckles "Alrighty I guess will tell her at dinner the good news then"

Eleanor's pov-

"Eleanore do you want to come over this afternoon to play? Ella has a doctor's appointment and I can't bare the thought of being by myself with the nanny today, she's no fun. I can never just play I must do homework and even more homework before mum and dad come home." James asked me at after-care. "No James I'm afraid I can't tonight. Mummy and Pa have important news to tell me tonight. What do you think the news is?" I reply "Maybe it's to tell you your going to school full time? or maybe that you're going to be moving. Idk how am I supposed to know" James says with a frown on his face. "Well, it can't be that I'm going to school full-time because my Granny said that my next step would be to go to Oxford. And we definitely aren't moving since my Uncle Harry is moving into the cottage." I tell James with a laugh. He always seems confused but still, he's my best friend apart from Ella.

So here I am at the dinner table with Mummy and Papa waiting for the news. "Eleanore we have something to tell you and before we do I want you to know that we are so proud of you and love you. We would never try to replace you" Will starts off "But we want to let you know that in 8 months from now you will be a big Sister!" Kate announce " I'm going to be a big sister!" I say with big eyes. I can't believe I'm going to have a sibling, I hope it's a girl that way I can dress her up and play dolls with her. "Mummy, will I be able to play with the baby once it's born? Oh, Mummy please have a girl I want a girl." I demand. "I'm so glad that you are excited about the new addition Eleanore, Mummy and I can't wait for us to be a family of four.
