Chapter 14. "Familiar feeling"

Y/N POV

"Oh my god this is delicious. when did you learn to cook? You were terrible back then." I said while inhaling the pancakes in front of me. Pancakes aren't that hard to make you may think but let me tell you. My brother was able to break a toaster.
He couldn't even cook some rice without setting the house on fire. So I was pretty surprised that he finally managed to make something edible but of course I was proud.
"Hey.... I wasn't that bad." "Yes you were" "Are you serious? You have to stand by me! You backstabbing idiots." I couldn't stop laughing. I laughed so hard that I almost chocked on my pancake. Oh I missed this so much. Maybe I'll be able to be happy again.
I try to think about this In a positive way, since I have my brother with me.
After breakfast, I decided to get to know the house. This was like a labyrinth. I will definitely get lost in here. Everything was so pretty. They had many pictures on the walls. Some were painted by them I guess. At least that's what It looked like. I also saw some Art by Picasso or DaVinci. The walls were painted in a beautiful, dark moonlight blue.
As I came across the first floor. The vibe changed. A weird aura came over me. The halls were filled with a dark and scary aura. I assumed that behind these doors were the guys rooms. They are 9 boys and each of them had a room for themselves.
I decided to leave with a weird feeling in my stomach but I didn't want to think about it for now. Maybe old feelings came back. I remember that I had the same feeling, when I lived with The Boyz.
Everytime, I walked down the halls were they're rooms were, I felt awkward. I felt stalked and there was this scary aura that never left.
As I walked up to the second floor, the feeling got worse. I got goosebumps all over my body.
I wanted to know, why did I felt that way?
Why did the aura changed this drastically as I get to the first and second floor?
"Y/N?" I heard my brother calling my name and left as fast as I could. Almost running back downstairs to the ground floor. This was scary as hell.
"Yes?" I asked when I arrived and gave my brother a questionable look.
"I don't want you to leave the house on your own. Not to take away your freedom but for now it think it's the best. They could be searching for you and I can't risk losing you again." He said strictly.
Even tho I get what he meant and he wants the best for me and may health, I was sad.
I thought I'd get my freedom back but.... I guess I was happy to soon.
I sighed and nodded at his words. I had no other choice.

At least I could walk around on my own in this house. Watching TV, helping with chores, cooking, spending time with my brother.
Without realising, It did Kind of sounded like the almost 2 months that I had spent with the Boyz.
I remembered that me and my brother had to talk about everything. He wanted to explain everything to me.
"Sian" I said before he could walk away.
He turned back to me and waiter for me to continue my sentence.
"You wanted to explain everything... could you do that now? Like how did you found out where I am and how did you managed to get in and-" he interrupted me with a slight laugh.
"Calm down. I'll tell you all of it. Sit down."
I sat down and he sat next to me.
"As I noticed that you were gone, I ran to the police first. Asking for their help but they took too long. I remembered that there is a group called The Boyz. Most known criminals in South Korea and I began to search for articles. Reporting about so many unfinished and lost cases about girls gone missing.
All of them were your age and they were so many clues that proved it was them. It was their fault. The police never caught them tho. After all these clues and what not, I thought about taking this into my own hands but since I couldn't do anything all by myself, I paid someone to search for you. Someone who was as good as the FBI. After 1 week he was successful. He found out the location were the mansion of the Boyz was hid and without waisting another second, he drove me there."
It took me some minutes to get everything he just said. I had to Progress every single word.
Everything made sense now. The scream that I heard... belonged to the last girl they kidnapped. They killed her because she managed to escape.
How do I know this? I remembered something that Eric said, some hours before i was locked in the basement.

FLASHBACK

"What we're you guys doing in the night I met you" I asked while me and Eric were chilling on the couch. Watching a romantic movie.
"A maid that was working for us ran away. She said that she will report everything and that we are sick psychopaths. We didn't even do anything to her." He explained. I raised an eyebrow. Not believing any of his words. They haven't done anything to that poor girl? As if.
"Changmin cut off her hand and her tongue."
he mumbled. Confessing the horrible things that Changmin has done to her. Of course it was him.
I starred at him in disgust while imagining those horror scenes. Poor girl. They are indeed sick psychopaths and the girl was kind of free now.
Sometimes death is better than being held captive against their will. After being tortured by someone like Changmin, I did had suicidal thoughts once.
