The residents of Ninjago were filled with relief and excitement as the sun began to set over the city. The battle against the mighty Meowthra and Garmadon was won, and the city was finally at peace. Cole, the Earth Ninja, stood amid his fellow ninjas, their exhausted but victorious grin echoing his own, relieved that they could finally rest.

The streets were packed with citizens celebrating the ninjas' victory. Cole's eyes searched the crowd for a familiar face - a face that held a particular place in his heart. His eyes was drawn to (Y/N), a brave and loving person who had fought alongside them throughout the trip and even before that.

Cole mustered his confidence and approached (Y/N) who was receiving accolades from the thankful people, his heart hammering with a mixture of excitement and nerves. He drew their attention with a throat clearing.

Cole: a bright smile "(Y/N), we succeeded! We've finally put a stop to Meowthra's destruction!"

(Y/N): turned to face him, eyes twinkling with relief and joy "Heck yeah we did! You and the others were fantastic with your elemental abilities!"

Uh-oh, loverboy's heart is swollen with love, and he drew a deep breath before continuing to speak to his long-time admirer.

Cole: "You know, I couldn't help but notice how strong and brave you are throughout our encounter and adventure. You've always been there for us, and you've demonstrated time and time again that you were and continue to be an outstanding ninja from the start."

(Y/N): flushed with astonishment and delight, their faces lit up. "Cole, that means a lot coming from you. You, too, are an incredible ninja; your determination and loyalty are what make you great."

Cole: fear began to subside as he gained confidence. "I'd like to ask you a question, (Y/N). Would you...would you like to go on a date with me now that all of this is over?"

(Y/N): startled eyes expand as a warm smile sweeps across their face "Cole, I'd love to go on a date with you!"

Cole grinned from ear to ear as a wave of relief flowed over him. He reached out his hand to (Y/N), who accepted it without hesitation. So, among the celebrations and newfound love, the story of Cole and (Y/N) begins.

Cole and (Y/N) had many wonderful excursions together in the weeks that followed. They laughed and got closer with each passing day, their relationship becoming stronger with each passing day. The victory over Meowthra was only the beginning of their journey, as they welcomed the future together while enjoying cakes and disco.

"Stop being dramatic."

Earth and Wind (or Air) function well together, especially when they are on the same page. A combination of quick release of speed and faith. Cole and (Y/N), the strength of their love for one another, rose from the ashes of combat.
