Like every other morning, the sun rose from East & spread its bright rays, the birds chirped melodiously, and the winds blew ferociously but...today the morning wasn't usual for two souls. This morning was the most special one for Karan & Monami as they were going to meet for the very first time. With thumping hearts, one was getting ready while the other one was just keeping an eye on the road waiting for her 'someone special'.

Soon, Retd. Col. Sooraj Shergill along with his sons, daughter-in-law, granddaughter reached Mumbai for a very special meet with the Mahajans. Col. Batra also accompanied him & Faizi was also there for being a support for Karan as he's his best friend and of the same age. During the whole journey from Delhi to Mumbai, there was one question that lingered in Karan's head - Main kaise baat karunga unse!

As the dazzling black posh car entered the narrow road, Monami who was peeping from her balcony, immediately moved back as her nervousness increased. Koel, who was there with her, passed her teasing looks as Monami's cheeks started heating up that too without having a single glance at her 'may be groom'.

Karan exited the car along with his family and took a quick look around the locality and Mahajans' house. The simple & minimalistic aura of the house somewhat impressed him already. But shrugging off such impressive thoughts, he greeted Dr. Mahajan with a warm smile, who came outside for welcoming the Shergills. With a thumping heart, Monami finally dared to look down from the balcony and get a glimpse of Karan who was touching Deepak's feet. Karan's mannerism was somewhat very liked by Monami. As she looked down, Karan too coincidentally looked upwards and that's when their eyes met. Looking straight into each other's eyes from a distance was hard but still they were constantly staring. But the beautiful eye lock was broken by Faizi & Koel who took Karan & Monami inside respectively.

Monami was getting ready in her room with the same question lingering in her mind as well. Koel was taking rounds around her, helping her in draping the saree along with teasing her in between.

Koel (teasing) - Di, jiju ke liye saja ja raha hai?

Monami - Chup kar, pagal!

Scolding her sweetly, Monami resumes getting ready. Her saree was well draped, her face was adorned with a beautiful small bindi and beautiful jhumke were hanging in her ears & her cheeks were heated. Her heart was beating faster than usual and, in an attempt, to calm it down, she ended up blushing harder due to this very new feeling of meeting someone for the purpose of alliance.

Both ladke wale and ladki wale got seated in the simple yet beautiful drawing room of the Mahajans'. Sooraj & Col. Batra were having a talk with Deepak, Juhi was answering some questions which were asked by Barkha and Param was busy handling Baby. Munheem ji was also present there & was offering sweets and snacks to the guests. All were busy in some or the other thing, while Karan just had his eyes set on the staircase from where Monami was expected to descend. Observing his antics, Faizi leaned closer to him with a smirk on his face.
