~~~~Rain~~~~
Fun fact, rainy days are actually Luna's favorite type of days. For some strange reason, she feels most connected to it. She gets so much enjoyment from being able to smell the earth, how the air feels so fresh and soothing as it softly kisses her skin, the fact that she finds the sound of the rain pouring therapeutic and calming. But then again it could be because no one goes out on rainy days and makes walking to school less torturous. All jokes aside, she always thought the core reason as to why she felt so good in the rain is because it doesn't affect her the way it does on everyone else. She can dance in the rain and listen to music for hours and hours and never get sick. She doesn't even have to wear jackets to keep herself from freezing to death. She doesn't feel like it's a bother. She likes to think of it as a little quirk of hers, a very strange yet mysterious quirk.
As the rain continued to pour she continued enjoying her walk to school. Passing houses, leafless trees, the town's famous library that she personally liked to "borrow" books from. Already forgetting about the bitch on the couch she finally made it to the end of the second block from her house. Before she could cross the street she noticed a beat up newspaper vending machine. From the looks of it, someone actually took time out of their day to break into it, leaving a mess of now old wet newspapers on the sidewalk and completely destroying it in the process. Probably to steal the very little quarters in it. She didn't think the machine would be able to financially recover from the beating but she did hope it got the rest it deserved from this cruel society.
While crossing the street she took a glance at what was left of the lifeless newspapers on the ground. As clear as honey the headline read, "Breaking News: Newest Avenger– Avenges Her!" Seriously though, who came up with the headline? She gagged at not only the horrendous headline but also at the memory of that fateful summer day when the new Avenger Loki, God of Mischief proved himself a good god by saving the Mayor's oldest daughter from one of Hydra's main bases—Nyxie Hart. She randomly disappeared in thin air this summer. Because of her father being the Mayor the whole town patrolled the streets at night to try to find her or any clues as to where she could have gone or been. This went on for about a week but it wasn't until the Avengers went on one of their Hydra missions a week later and saved her from that cruel place. Judging by what they found, it was a kidnapping. Apparently, Hydra was working on an experiment of recreating a super human. They kidnapped random people from random places and would do torturous tests on them. Nyxie was the only survivor and became a successful test subject who now possesses magic.
Soon after her rescue, rumors spread that Nyxie and The God of Mischief had a spark in the midst of the whole event and started dating during the fall. They both possess magic and since she does have special abilities it only makes sense for her to hang out with the Avengers and potentially grow feelings for one of them. Recent rumors say that Nyxie would stop interning and officially become an Avenger. After she graduates and to top it, an engagement proposal might be coming soon from the God of lies himself. And that's the story, they live happily ever after and continue being seen as earth's finest heroes. It's sickening.
Why you may ask? Don't get me wrong, it's nice knowing that things turned out on a good note but maybe I wouldn't have taken it so personally and cared so much if the person they saved WASN'T ONE OF MY FUCKING BULLIES FROM SCHOOL!!!! I swear it's like the Multiverse hates me! Personally, I would have been fine if she rotted and died from the hands of Hydra! I would have been happier knowing that one out of three of my bullies from school no longer walked on this earth. The other two being her sisters Bella and Amber, the popular triplets and Oakwood's Princesses.
   They are seen as angels sent from the heaven's above and are treated as such in this town. But not Luna, oh no she knows who they truly are. They are nothing but vile disgusting creatures sent from hell! Almost like Satan himself shitted out a few turds in Oakwood and forgot to flush solely for the purpose of attacking her every single day. Whenever she tried to say something and/or stand up for herself no one believed her. Everyone at school thinks she grew obsessed with the Hart sisters and try to run their names through the mud for some type of attention since she lacked parents. So now, she keeps to herself. She doesn't have any friends, nor does she want any. Once she graduate, she plans on leaving this place and disappearing. She hasn't decided where she would go yet but anywhere is better than here...
