Chapter 28

I woke up and surprisingly the house was totally quiet. That is so abnormal for this house. I looked next to me and Clay was still asleep. I grabbed my phone and realized that it was the twin's 2nd birthday today. "What time is it?" Clay asked leaning onto his elbow.

"8:30." "And the twins haven't woken us up yet?" "The house is very quiet, i mean like too quiet for two 2 year olds." He nodded. We both got up and walked straight to their room. They weren't there. We went into Jersey's room, they weren't there, and she was still asleep. We checked Braedan's room and he wasn't there.

Then we heard giggling coming from downstairs. We walked down the stairs to find Braedan With Jace on his lap tickling him, and Landan sitting on the other couch watching them and laughing. He looked over at us and his eyes lit up. he climbed off of the couch and ran to us.

Clay picked him up and placed him on his hip. "Happy birthday baby." I said getting on my tiptoes and kissing his cheek. (Clay needs to stop growing, and shrink a couple inches.) He smiled then leaned down. I grabbed him out of Clay's grasp and walked into the kitchen.

"What do you want to eat?" he thought for a second, then a huge grin spread across his face. "Waffles!" "Me too!" Jace yelled from the living room. I laughed then grabbed everything i need to make waffles. Landan helped me make the batter, then he carefully poured some into the waffle maker.

We made about 10 waffles. I put two on each plate except for the twin's. Since it was their birthday, i put whip cream and strawberries with a handful of chocolate chips on theirs. We all sat down and ate, leaving Jersey's plate on the island.

When we got finished Clay and I took the twins upstairs to get them dressed. (Outfit above) They were wearing the same thing, except Jace was wearing a black beanie and Landan just had his in a quiff. After they were both ready for the day, i went to get ready. I took a quick shower, then put on a tank top that says 'forever summer' and a pair of mint blue shorts.

I put my hair up into a messy bun, then sat down on my bed and tried to finish all of my school work that i have, when Jace came in. "Mommy what are you doing?" "School work." "Do i have to leave?" "No, you can sit with me." He smiled then tried to climb up onto my bed, but i ended up just picking him up.

he crawled onto my lap and sat facing me. I kissed his forehead, and continued to answer some Math questions. I passed the assignment and continued to do a couple more until i was at 94%, then i went onto science. "Fishy?" I looked down and Jace was making a fishy face. i laughed then kissed his little lips.

"I love you." he said hugging onto me. "I love you too." I hugged him, then went back to working. About an hour later i was done with everything, so i closed my laptop, and moved Jace a little bit, so i could get up. he rested his head on my shoulder, then we went downstairs to join everyone else.

"Hey, where were you?" Braedan asked looking back at us while Clay and Landan continued watching TV. "I just needed to finish some schoolwork." He nodded then turned back to the TV. "Can we go to the park? or a walk?" Jace whispered. "Yeah, Landan, do you want to come with us on a walk?"

He looked at us and shook his head and went back to watching TV. We put our shoes on, then walked out the door. He grabbed my hand, and we started walking around the neighborhood. "Look it's a butterfly!" He said pointing to a light blue butterfly that was black on the edges with white spots.

He smiled up at me, and we continued walking. We decided to just walk around the neighborhood, and a couple of other neighborhoods that are around us. We got home about 30 minutes later. We are having a party for them at 4, then a couple of their friends are going to stay the night, so we are probably just gonna have a movie night.

I went upstairs and changed into a black long sleeve crop top, and sweatpants. "You can't wear that to a toddler birthday party." Clay said walking into my room. "I wear this around the boys!" I whined. "I know, but some of the little boys have older brothers, and you are mine, all mine." 

I laughed at my loser of a boyfriend and he pulled me into a hug and kissed me. "I love you." "i love you too." I pulled away, but he pulled me back and kissed me passionately. His hands were holding onto my hips while mine were tangled in his hair.

"We should probably get going to the store." I said ruining the moment on purpose. He groaned then changed into sweatpants and a random shirt. (He keeps some of his clothes in her room, even though his room is right through the window lol) We went downstairs and got into Braedan's car. 

We bought a ton of Marvel superhero birthday stuff, and i mean a ton. It was enough stuff to last them about 4 more birthday parties. By the time we were done buying everything we needed, it was 3:30. Braedan drove us back home, then helped us set up while the boys were with Cole and Baylor.

It didn't take us that long, cause we also had Jersey helping us, with Jack. Soon enough the little boys from the twin's daycare started coming over. The party was really fun, i mean for the little kids, and whoever was playing the games with them. 

Clay and I pretty much just watched, cause neither of us were really in the mood to chase little kids around. We do that every single day, mainly with Jace. Landan is a little more laid back and doesn't really run around unless they are playing a game.

Matthew and Sam came over and helped watch the kids. It was so funny cause Matthew kept pretending to fall and the boys just died laughing. One of the times they both doggy piled on him with a couple of other little boys.

~After Party~

Once all of the families went home, only 3 little boys were left to stay the night. Sam had to go home, but Matthew's mom said he could stay the night. Braedan kept the 5 little boys occupied in the front yard, while the two losers i call my now best friend and boyfriend, and i made a pillow and blanket fort for them to sit in and watch movies.

I made a quick dinner for them, Macaroni and cheese with chicken nuggets. They ate then went crazy, well except for Landan who must have went to his room. Matthew and I caught the four crazy little boys while Clay went to look for Landan. 

We quickly bathed all 5 of the boys, then got them ready for bed. Clay and Matthew sat with them in the living room watching Toy story, while i made some popcorn. I put some popcorn in 5 little bowls then gave each bowl to the little boys. 

I put my hair up into a messy bun then joined them. Today was a great day, and the twins agree. By the time it was 7 all 5 boys were knocked out along with two 15 year olds. I woke Clay up, and we went to my room and fell asleep.
