Chapter 16 (a month later)

Justine's pov...

Today is Clay and my one year aniversery, so i bought him a ton of his favorite stuff. i bought him apple juice just to mess with him, so im going to pretend thats all i got him. later im going to take him to a small amusment park called zdt's. right now im sitting on my living room floor playing with the twins, well Landans playing while Jace is sitting in my lap with his head against my chest.

''Mommy?" "yeah Landan?" "i miss Daddy.'' we havent seen Clay for 2 weeks, because he went camp that is about an hour away from our house. ''i do to baby boy.'' i said kissing kis cheek. Jace fell asleep so i layed him down in the pack n play that was already down here for some reason. "Landan get back here!''  i yelled chasing Landan into the guest room. When i caught him i heard Jersey singing from her room im guessing she has headphones on because its loud.

"Justine?!" i heard Clay yell from my room, he must have came home late last night, because its only 8:30 and i doubt anyone would want to get up at 5-6 in the morning to get him. ''Downstairs!'' a few seconds later he can running down the stairs and swung me around when he reached me, luckily i already put landan down on the couch to watch spongebob. ''I missed you so much" he said kissing me. ''me too.'' i said when we pulled apart.

''move im trying to watch tv.'' Landan whined ''i guess you didnt miss me then.'' Clay said looking at Landan smiling ''daddy!" He got up on the couch and held out his arms for a hug. Clay wrapped his arms around him and kissed his little head. ''I'll be right back.'' i said leaving the room to go get Clays ''gifts''. i came back with a bag filled with all of his favorite candies and some apple juice, when i came into the room i saw that all three of the boys were sitting on the couch watching tv.

when Clay saw me his eyes lit up with excitement. i laughed at him and gave him the bag, ''Oh my god thank you!" he said getting up to hug me. ''happy anniversery.'' (btw they only celebrate being a couple by the years they are together for not months, because its dumb to be like happy 1 month anniversery, its better when its happy 1 year and so on. my opinion doesnt mean you shouldnt do it) ''happy 1 year.'' he said kissing me again, ''speaking of which here.'' he said handing me a box, i opened it and it had two infinity sign necklaces and ring. ''i thought that we could have matching necklaces.'' ''i love it thank you.'' i said hugging him. ''which necklace to you want?" there was a white one and a gold one, ''gold.'' ''ok.'' he grabbed the necklace and put it around my neck, then put his on.

He also slipped the ring on my finger, it was a promise ring saying that no matter what happens we will try i hardest to stay together. ''i have another present for you, its something we can do together.'' i said ''really what is it?" "i cant say.'' ''come on.'' ''nope.'' he sighed then out of no where 'thousand years' started playing. ''can i have this dance?'' i laughed at him then took his hand and we started slow dancing.

''we have to leave in about an hour.'' ''ok.'' i looked over at the boys and they were both asleep, ''do you think baylor or cole could watch them while we're gone?" "i think they have to go somewhere, but i think my parents can watch them.'' ''oh ok.'' i ran up the stairs to my room and grabbed some clothes and went to the bathroom to change. i am wearing a loose white crop top that has an infinity sign with love written on it, black shorts, on a pair of black vans. i went back down stairs and the twins and clay were gone, he must've already taken them to his house, because the pack n play is gone too.

I walked over to his house and Matthew was laying on the ground staring at the sky. ''what's up?" "Canada.'' ''what's down?" "Mexico.'' ''congradulations you won.'' ''what do i win?" "a chance to babysit two adorable little 1 year olds'' i said laying down next to him. ''do i get payed.'' ''yes, 5 dollars.'' ''an hour?" "no total.'' ''hm... fine as long as Weston helps me.'' ''why?" "because he's good at it.'' ''you sure?" "yeah whenever you went to have bff time with hannah, he cared for the twins while Clay was with lily.'' ''oh ok''.
