What if Katniss was pregnant?

Part 5

We all turn and look at Wiress, she has a sword through her back, placed there by Gloss from District 1. I quickly reach back to grab an arrow and shoot Gloss. He falls back into the river, hopefully dead. Just as fast as I shot the arrow another guys comes, and before I know it we all are fighting. I stay back by the cornucopia, shooting whenever I find an open area to shot. Finnick is fighting Brutus with his two ended staff, I shoot at Brutus, but he dodges and tuns away, around the corner of the cornucopia.

As I am turning to go after him the Island starts to spin, fast. I slip, but quickly grab on to the rigid ground so I don't fly off. But my quickly loosens. Just as I think I am going to fall Johanna grabs my wrist. I try to hold on, but it's not long before I slip and dive into the water. I am in mid scream before my mouth is filled with water. The water burns my eyes and I can't breath, but the only thing that comes to mind is that I have to breath, I have to stay alive, because I have to save this baby. Finally the spinning stops and luckily I am close to the edge of the Island. I pull myself up and start coughing up water. Johanna helps me pull myself over and Peeta runs to me fast.

"You okay?" I can feel Peeta gently rubbing my back. I still am catching my breath so I just give him a thumbs up and a little nod.

Johanna walks away yelling, "Let's just get what we need and get off this bloody Island." We make our way back to the beach and gather in the tree line.

"So besides Brudus and Anibaria, who's left?" I ask.

"Maybe Chaff. Just those three." This comes from Peeta, sitting to my right. Yeah, so we some how kill all of them, then what? There's five of us left after that. I don't want to die, but I also don't want to kill my allies, my friends. Finnick's voice stops my train of thought.

"They know they're out numbered," He says, "so they're not going to attack again. We're safe where we are on the beach."

"So what do we do, hunt them down?" Just as Johanna finishes speaking I hear screams, Prim's screams.

Okay so my dad was just diagnosed with cancer, and so I said in a comment on chapter four that I probably wouldn't be able to keep writing this story, but I find that this story helps keep my mind off all that's going on. So, because of everything that's going on I don't have much time to write this story, but i still like the distraction from everything. To compromise this I am going to only write a little of this story when I can. I promise to you guys that I will try to update as much as I can, but I warning you that you shouldn't expect too much.

Also my birthday is Friday! So excited!!
