After breakfast they make their way down to platform 9 ¾ saying their goodbyes and thanks to Mr and Mrs Malfoy board the Hogwarts Express. Ready for the year of possibilities that lay before them.
On the train Y/n is sat, with Nala on her lap, next to M in a carriage with Draco and pansy who are sat together on the opposite side.
Y/n: 'honestly Matty you had to go, and spray paint your name on the side of a bridge just before the term started.' Y/n said in a sarcastic tone.
M: 'I was slightly drunk ok, and someone dared me to!''
Y/n: 'slightly drunk by our standards or the general publics?'
M: 'ours'
Y/n: 'ahh well that explains it. How did you even get up onto the bridge I've seen it before. How'd, you get up there drunk?'
M: 'I have no clue I don't remember.'
P: 'You all got your permission forms for Hogsmeade signed.'
Y/n: 'Yer did mine before I left.'
D: 'My farther signed mine straight away.'
M: 'I still haven't got mine signed yet.'
Y/n: 'You got the letter still.'
M: 'It's just here.'
Y/n: 'Give it here and i'll forge the signature for you.'
P: 'You sure they won't be able to tell?'
Y/n: 'Relax I've done this loads before.'
Suddenly the train shudders to a stop, soon after all the lights turn off. There's a small whimper.
P: 'don't worry Draco it'll be ok I'm here.'
Y/n: 'stop with the whimpering Draco.'
D: 'It's not me!' he says defensively
M: 'Yer right.'
The windows began to freeze.
Y/n: 'is it just me or is it getting colder*
M: 'no I feel it to.'
P: 'same'
Thirty long seconds later a dementors long skeleton like fingers slide the compartment door open.
D: 'Ahhh!' Draco screams in a high pitch voice.
P: 'Calm down don't worry darling I'm here. Your safe.'
M: 'ohh shut up Draco!'
Y/n: 'it's actually kind of cute.' looking at the dementor.
D: 'of course you find it cute Y/n!' in a stated of distress
After apparently not finding whatever the dementor was looking for it moved on to the next carriage.
Y/n: 'Aww it's gone.'
D: 'Good reddens.'
Y/n: 'Now give me the form Mat and I'll sign it for you. Quick quick we're almost at the school.'
Y/n signed the form for Mattheo, handed it back and he stashed it in his clock pocket. Then the train arrived at the station, the second year and above students boarded carriages that would take them up to the school. The gang all shared a carriage in the same seats as on the bus.
