My Ginger Boy's Baby (A Luke Cutforth Story:Sequel)

Olivia's POV
So today is my baby shower. Im 32 weeks today. So I have about 4 more weeks until our little Ruby comes. I didn't have like a bunch of girl friends, so I was allowing some guys to come as well. I invited Patty, Karim, Emma, Zoella, Alfie and Tyler and Troye are in Brighton so they are tagging along as well. Luke and I set up decorations before we went to bed, so now all we have to do is get dressed and make/put out food. I got dressed in some nice black leggings and a cute top. I curled my hair and put on some make up. It was about 9 and everybody was coming at 1. I went over to the bed to wake up Luke. "Luke, Hun, wake upppp." I said and poked his face. "Ugh, do I have to wake up?" Luke whined. "Yes, the baby shower is today, and you need to help me with food." I said. "Fiiiine." Luke said and sat up in bed. "I expect you dressed and down stairs in 10 minutes." I said. Luke stuck out his tongue. "Okay Moooooom." Luke laughed and I laughed too.

I went into the kitchen and quickly made some oatmeal for Luke and myself. I quickly are and then started making some food for the shower. I made vegan brownies, cookies and cupcakes. I decided to call in for some vegan pizza. I got some fruit and veggie trays and I placed them on a table I set up in the living room. Luke decorated the cupcakes which he was actually pretty good at. Luke also went out and got the pizza. It was about 12:50 when Luke got back, we just placed the pizza in the stove (it's off), just to keep the pizzas from coming off too fast.

We just finished eating and people were snacking on the treats Luke and I made. "You're belly is so big!" Zoella said. "I know and I still have 4 weeks to go, which is when they start getting much bigger. "Does she kick a lot?" Tyler asked. "Yeah, she's kicking right now actually." I said. "Omg can I feel!?" Tyler yelled. "Me toooo!" Troye said. "Yeah of coarse, anybody who would like to feel can." I said and smiled. Everybody felt the baby kicking and they had big smiled on their faces.

We just finished a few games and presents. Zoe and Alfie got me some bibs, clothes, blankets and diapers. My lovely Emma got me a high chair, it was the exact one that I wanted. Karim got me, well the baby, some clothes and little shoes and a little hat like his. Patty got me some bottles, baby clothes and a onesie that had his band logo on it. Tyler and Troye got me more wintery stuff for the baby, like a coat, mittens, thicker blankets and a cute hat. "Thank you so much guys, I really appreciate everything." I said as everybody started to leave. I gave everybody hug and said goodbye.

It was now 10 pm. I've been having slight stomach cramps, but my Mom said she got those while she was pregnant with me. I got changed into sweat pants and a pink jumper. It was about 12 am when I woke up with really bad cramping. "Luke, Luke wake up, something is wrong." I said and shook him. "What's wrong?" Luke said tiredly. "We need to go to the hospital right away, I'm having really bad cramping, I'm pretty sure they are contractions." I said quickly. "But it's not even close to your due date." Luke said. "I know, hence why we need to hurry up." I said. Luke started getting my stuff together while I called my doctor.

We got to the hospital fairly quickly. Luke called his parents and let them know what was going on. I put on a hospital gown as instructed and got an ultra sound immediately. The baby was in the right position to come out head first. But they told me they will need to check the baby as soon as she comes out so that they make sure she doesn't die. This was all very very scary for me. I just got an epidural. "Luke, I'm sorry this is happening." I said as I lay in my hospital bed hooked up to many machines. "Olivia, in no way is this your fault. I know she is going to be okay, alright?" Luke said. "Alright." I said and Luke kissed me. "Anybody else you want me to call?" Luke asked. "I'd really like if Emma was here." I said. "Alright, I'll go call right now. I'll be right back, you try and get some sleep." He said and kissed my forehead. I got woken up by the doctor. Emma was here now. "I just need to see how dilated you are." The doctor said. "Okay." I said. "Alright, you seem to be ready to push." The doctor said. "Okay." I said. Emma came over to me. "You can do this Olivia, everything is going to be perfect, okay?" Emma said. "Okay Emma, I trust you." I said. Nurses filled the room and Luke took my hand. Emma stood behind him and a nurse came to my other side to coach me through this. "Alright push." The doctor said and the nurse counted to ten. Fuck this hurts so fucking much Jesus Christ. After a few pushes the baby came out. I didn't hear her cry. Luke got to quickly cut the umbilical cord and she was take away. I started crying. "Baby, shhh, she's beautiful Livvie, she's going to be fine." Luke said and comforted me. "Okay..." I said and stopped crying slowly. "You did great Olivia." Emma said and hugged me.

3 hours later
I was finally able to see me baby girl. She was so tiny an she had a bunch of tubes and machines hooked up to her. My little baby girl. "Hey Ruby, it's your Mommy. I love you so much and I know you can get through this, I can tell you are so so strong. I love you so much baby girl." I said to her. Luke and his parents walked in. "Hey Olivia." His mom said and hugged me. "Hey." I said. "Is this our little Ruby?" She said excitedly. "Yes it is." I said. "Oh my, she's so tiny." His dad said. "Yeah, she is 4 weeks premature, the doctors said she can go hope when she reaches 6 pounds." I said. "I know you'll get to take her home soon." His mom said and gave me hug.

Luke's parents just left. Visitation was over, they thankfully let Luke stay tonight. Tomorrow we have to go home. I really don't want to leave my baby girl, but they need this room. They said I can come visit her as much as I want as long as it's during visitation hours. I'm glad Ruby is doing good so far, I hope things to turn around.
