Lee's POV

"It's been a long time since I've been in a restaurant like this," I said with a smile. He looked at me in surprise.

"You mean you have never been in on a date with anybody ever since…?," He asked trailing off.

"Yeah, I really couldn't find the time to date someone, I am too busy studying or working at my father's Dojo. But quite a few asked me out but I would decline," I said nervously smiling a bit.

"I don't know if I should rule that out as good or bad. But is it bad of me to be happy that you haven't seen many people?," he asked and we laughed.

"But you have quite a reputation around here, how do you even manage that. Seeing many people at the same time?," I asked with a raised eyebrow smirking a bit.

"I'd rather not dweal on that, I still can't believe the things I did. But I know that I miss you, terribly," he said holding onto my hands.

"Then why did you treat me like that four years ago only to miss me later, why did you break my heart in that manner?," I asked frowning slightly," Why did you make me feel like I was a waist of your time and why didn't you just tell me that there was already someone else in your life, instead of prolonging my heartache and making me worry and stressed out. Why Gaara, tell me. Because I really don't understand?," I asked looking at him in the eyes.

He sighed, frowning slightly. He looked up at me with regret and sorrow in his eyes," I honestly felt like I was above you and that I was waisting my time with you. I know our relationship was amazing and great. But at the time I was full of myself and foolish, I craved more from our relationship and I felt like you were holding me back," He started looking down.

Flashback~
Four years ago~

"Damn Gaara, your father left you his entire company, how do you feel about that?," Sasuke asked shocked from his place on the camp chair. I just chuckled.

"Yeah, I'm pretty surprised. He could have left it to Kankuro or maybe Temari, but not me," I said sitting on the edge of the pool with my feet dipped inside the water.

"So when are you planning on telling your future wife?," Neji asked in a teasing voice, smirking at me from his place inside the water.

"Who Lee?, I ain't gonna tell him a thing, in fact I'm not going to tell him anything until he gives out," I said and I could see them looking at me surprised.

"Dude, Lee is maybe saving himself for marriage. He's got morals too you know," Shino said trying to make me see 'the light'.

"Yeah, but that doesn't change the fact that our relationship is getting boring, my romance for him is dying. I'm losing feelings for him," I said in an agitated voice.

"But you guys go out on dates and he spends nights at your apartment," Shino said from his place in the pool sitting on that balloon thing that floats on water.

"That's not enough, Shino. My love for him can't burn forever if I don't have him fully. This relationship is losing it's spark man, I can't do this with him anymore," I said looking at my friends.

They looked back at me and then each other," Okay then Gaara, you do whatever you have to do. Just don't regret it later," Neji said and somehow those words gave me deja vu.
