Opening my eyes slowly, the sun shining in my face, I groaned and turned off my alarm. For fucks sake why do we have to wake up so early for school? Can't we have afternoon school or something?
I rolled over in my bed, grabbing my phone from under my pillow. I went onto Instagram and saw Jade posted something 2 minutes ago. Why she posts at 5:28 in the morning, I do not know.

"Perrie! Come on get up and get ready!" My mom shouted from downstairs. I sighed and got up to make my bed. Everyone always says 'what's the point in making your bed if you are just gonna sleep in it and ruin it anyway?' which is a good point but I like making it. I just like having everything super clean and tidy.
After I made my bed, I went to my wardrobe and picked out some ripped jeans and a hoodie. Yes, I am modest so I don't like showing lots of my body.
I went into my bathroom and turned on my shower, along with putting on a playlist on Spotify. My mom hates it when I play music super loud in the shower but I honestly do not care. I need my tunes. And that also makes no sense because my mom plays music in the shower so... why can't I?
I took a quick shower and hopped out, drying off my body and my hair. I knew Jade was coming to pick me up soon because she does every morning. So, I got myself completely ready and headed downstairs to wait for her.
"Morning mom," I said when I got downstairs. She had made some toast for me. I smiled at her and took the plate, "Morning sweetie. How'd you sleep?"
"Same old thing. Although, waking up at 5 is not very fun."
"Maybe you should go to the head department of school's and tell them to change the wake up time."
"Maybe I should," I laughed and so did she. My dog came up to me as I was eating. In my baby voice I said, "Hi, Hatchi," I gave him some pets and a bite of my toast.
A few minutes later, I was just peacefully talking to my mom when we heard 3 loud ass bangs on the front door. That's definitely Jade.
I got up and went to open the door, "Jesus Christ, Jade. Why do you have to knock so damn loud?" I complained to her. She just laughed,
"Because it's fun."
"Okay, whatever, bye mom!" I waved to my mom and she blew me a kiss. Before I shut the door Jade yelled hello to my mom, making me laugh and roll my eyes. I shut the door and walked to Jade's car with her. Jade opened the door for me and I got in.
"Okay, so I have a question," Jade said once she got in the car. I went onto my phone, "Yes?"
"This guy asked me out yesterday and I didn't know whether to say yes or not."
"Is he cute?"
"Eh, he's okay," I sighed and put my phone away, "What did you say to him?"
"I asked him to give me his number and I would get back to him." Jade always asks me for advice about dating which I don't understand why because I have never even had a real relationship.
"Alright well, do you think he deserves a chance with you?" Jade thought for a second,
"Yeah, I guess. He has good hair." I laughed at her response, making her look at me, "What's so funny, blondie?" I shook my head,
"His hair? That's the only thing you worry about?"
"No, that was just the first thing that caught my eye!"
"Babe, you have to pay attention to more than his hair," Jade pulled into the school. She looked at me and dropped her hands from the steering wheel, "I tried, he seems kinda boring." I sat up in my seat,
"Boom, there you go. Boring is not something you'd like. Trust me I know." I said. Jade laughed and playfully pinched my cheeks, "God, I love you." She said. I laughed and we got out of the car.
As we were walking to the front, we saw Harry and Louis talking. Jade pulled me to the side and whispered in my ear, "Let's scare them." I grinned and nodded. We walked up behind them slowly and Jade counted, 1, 2 , 3
"Morning Larry!" We both yelled. Harry jumped and Louis just turned around and flipped us off. Jade and I laughed our asses off at their reactions.
"What is wrong with you guys?" Harry complained, clearly he was more scared than Louis. I walked up to Harry and put an arm around him, patting his shoulder, "It's okay, darling, it's alright." I said in a funny accent, making Harry roll his eyes and shrug my arm off him. I laughed and we all walked inside together.
We always meet at Leigh's locker because she is the captain of the cheer team, so she is always here early with the rest of the team for practice.
"Hey Leigh!" We all said walking up to her. She smiled at us and closed her locker.
Harry, Louis, Leigh and Jade are my best friends. Well, Jade is kinda parted from them because she's my best best friend. I met Harry and Louis last year and they introduced me to Leigh and Jade. Harry always says that the friend group was not complete until I showed up, which always makes me smile. I know that they are my true friends and I love them so much, they genuinely make me so happy.
Now, Jade.. She is my girl. I swear there is no one I love more than her. She is the most sweet and sensitive girl, but she is also extremely confident and fun. She really has helped me come out of my shell. I'm still shy but definitely not as shy as I was before I met Jade. Jade is a very caring, funny, sweet, sensitive, confident, thoughtful, selfless, and beautiful girl. I honestly can't believe that she is my best friend. I love her with everything I have.
"Guys, guess who's having a party tonight?" Leigh said as we started walking to English. I hate parties, but everyone else loves them. I just think a shy person going to a party is a recipe for disaster.
"Zayn Motherfucking Malik," Jade answered, making everyone chuckle.
"Mhm, and all of you are coming with me. That includes you Perrie." Leigh explains as we turn the corner. For fucks sake.
"Uhhh, no." I state. Jade nudges my shoulder and says "Come on, pez. It will be fun!"
"Yeah you said that last time." I was referring to the last time I went to a party. I was forced into drinking and I threw up all over the host of the party. So, no that's not happening.
"Okay, we don't have to think about that," Jade says, "I promise I'll be right by your side the whole time, babe." Jade always knew what to say to calm me down, and of course, I gave in.
I sighed and said, "Okay, fine I'll go." Jade smiled and embraced me in a tight hug. I hugged her back and I was silently dreading going to this dumb party.
