-Perrie-
Same day, 4:55 pm, Perrie's house.
I am so grateful for Jade. God, I love her so much.
She came back upstairs with some snacks and blankets. Jade sat down next to me, smiling. I chuckled at how excited she was.
I sat up and picked up one of my blankets, "You know I have 3 blankets right here?"
"The more the merrier!" She smiled and turned on my TV. "Are you picking?" I asked. She nodded and picked 'Tangled' which we both loved. I could see the grin on her face, she was so happy and excited, it was honestly adorable. I grinned at her and she looked at me,
"What?" She asked, smiling at me. I shook my head, "Nothing... you're just really cute." I said, making her grin wider. She opened her arms for me, "Come here, love bug." chuckling quietly, I crawled into her arms.
I ended up falling asleep 20 minutes into the movie. I could feel Jade tighted her hold on me as I was asleep. I honestly find it really cute how protective she is of me. I mean, we're protective of each other but she is like extra with me. She will literally kill someone for me, and she's told me that before.
I woke up at I don't know what time, but it was pitch black in my room, the only light being the TV which was on low brightness. I looked over and saw Jade was asleep. Little princess.
I got up because I needed to use the bathroom. I realized that my parents had left a note on my door,
'We just got home, I see you and Jade are having a sleepover, let us know if you need anything'
I smiled at the note. My parents have always been so fond of Jade, and she comes over unannounced all the time and they don't mind at all.
I used the bathroom and put on some proper pajamas. As I was almost done changing, Jade spoke from behind me,
"This is quite the view to wake up to," I turned around, startled. "Jesus Christ, Jade," I mumbled. She laughed and I put my pants on. I sat down next to her and she turned to face me.
Jade grinned at me, "It's only 8 pm you know," She said. I looked at my phone,
"Oh, I thought it was way later." I said. "I have an idea," Jade started, getting up and grabbing a empty water bottle from my desk. She sat on the floor and patted for me to sit next to her. I was confused on what she was doing but I did it anyway and sat down in front of her.
"Let's play truth or truth, spin the bottle addition." She said. I widened my eyes, wait, spin the bottle? Am I gonna have to kiss her?
Jade laughed, "Don't worry bub, you don't have to kiss me." I sighed of relief. Not that I would be completely disgusted if I kissed her but she's my best friend and I don't feel that way about her.
"So, how do you play this?" I asked.
"Basically, one of us spins the bottle and then whoever it lands on or is closest to, that person is asked a question by the other player. If the question is not answered, that person has to do a dare and it doesn't matter what the dare is, you have to do it." Jade explained.
I nodded, "I guess we can try, but I'm really tired Jade so no crazy dares," I yawned and Jade smiled.
"Okay, princess you can go first." I can't with the nicknames she comes up with. They always make me smile.
I spun the bottle and it landed on me. I looked up at Jade and she smirked, making me roll my eyes. She thought for a second,
"Who was your first kiss?" She asked. Typical Jade. I haven't actually kissed anyone before, which makes me a little embarrassed. Stop it she's your best friend, she won't care.
I looked down, "I um... haven't kissed anyone before." My face was red from embarrassment.
"Aw, baby, that's okay!" Jade reassured me, lifting my chin up with her hand. I knew she wouldn't care.
I smiled, suddenly feeling very shy. Come on Perrie, stop it. It's just a stupid kiss. And Jade doesn't care, snap out of this shy school-girl shit.
Jade's facial expression changed when she saw how shy and embarrassed I was, "You don't have to be embarrassed about that, pez." She reassured me. I sighed and nodded.
"Thanks.. your turn I guess." She could tell I was bothered but I just wanted to let it go. But Jade had other ideas. She scooted closer to me,
"Perrie," She pressed. I looked up at her, and she was sitting really close to me, I could feel the heat radiating from her body.
"Jade?" I answered. She chuckled softly. "You are beautiful, you know that right?" She said softly. My heart was racing so fast. Why is your heart racing? It's just Jade. She's just complimenting you. Stop it.
I smiled and looked down. I still feel so shy. What the fuck is going on right now. Why is she being so flirty with me? I know she's bisexual but I never thought she'd like me. No, she doesn't like me. She's just tired I'm sure. Also, she doesn't know I am struggling with my sexuality. Unless she found out somehow, but I never told anyone.
Jade chuckled, "Look at you.. You can't even look at me. You're so shy." I started blushing. What the fuck. Why is Jade effecting me like this, she's my best friend.
"Look at me, pez," Jade whispered. She was still sitting so close to me. I looked up at her slowly and I've always thought Jade was beautiful but... Right now she looked even more beautiful than usual. Her eyes were captivating as they never left mine, and her hair fell perfectly over her shoulders. Perrie, stop! She's your best friend! And you don't like her like that!
"Jade I-" Suddenly my bedroom door bursted open. Jade and I both jumped away from each other and looked up to see my mom.
My mom looked at us with a confused look for a second before saying,"Girls, we have pizza downstairs if you want some," Jade and I nodded and she left. I stood up and locked the door. Sighing, I sat down on the bed.
"I'm sorry, Perrie." Jade said. I shook my head, "It's okay.. But.." I wanted to ask her why she did that, but honestly now I'm just confused and scared. I can't act like I didn't feel something. The way she was looking into my eyes and how close she was sitting made me so nervous.
"I don't know." Jade said. She knew what I wanted to ask. She can read me like a book.
"I um... Do you um.." I was gonna ask her if she liked me but she cut me off,
"No! Of course not, I just.. I don't know. I really don't." I guess she was just tired or maybe she was just out of it and she was feeling confident? But why to me? I'm her best friend.
I bit my lip and looked down. "Okay.." Is all I could say. The tension between us was large and I hated it. This has never happened to us before. It just felt so awkward. It felt like we were strangers.. I hate this, I hate this, I hate this.
Not that Jade and I haven't been close like that before, but that was for like photos and hugs. Not just randomly and in such a flirtatious manner.
Jade sighed, "I probably made you feel so awkward, I'm so sorry-" She started pacing the room and I grabbed her arm to stop her,
"No, Jade, stop. It's okay. You were probably just tired, let's just forget about it and go have some pizza, okay?" I reassured her. I really didn't want her to feel bad about this because she shouldn't. But, I'm now super confused and I am having a proper full-on gay crisis.
