All Alone

Prologue

"David! Eyes on the road!" Screeched my mum as she slammed the palms of her hands on her dashboard.
"I'm fine Angela I'm just about-"

I remember the day, it was a Friday. But really it was the day my life was destroyed by a single person that was intoxicated. After this moment I became the only person alive that was in my family. I remember the last three words my mum said to me, my forehead bleeding from a piece of glass I look over and see my brother. Pale, and gone.
"Ben! No! Come back I-I need you don't leave me! I'm sorry, please don't leave me." I start bawling my eyes out. "Shhhh darling I'm right here." I look at my mum still crying "it's go- going to be-be okay." I look at my mum struggling to speak. "I love you." My mums voice hushed,quiet. Then everything went silent, not a sound anywhere I looked at my surroundings, at this time it was pitch black outside. Not a car in sight. Except for one, one with lights! I open my mouth to yell but nothing came out. Nothing but a sharp pain.
"Hello!" I hear a man's voice from the top of the cliff. I try to move after several failed attempts. Its's pointless. I look over at Ben seeing his lifeless body, my eyes start to sting, "I can't cry." I tell myself, "Do it for mum and dad and Ben, maybe they can save them." I do my best to move I don't have any feeling in my right arm or leg, how I got anyone's attention I may never know. All I remember before I blacked out was seeing a man in bulky black and yellow pants and coat yell "Dan, call an ambulance! It's okay we will get you out of this car. No, stay with me darling!" Then, black.
