Guess who's back...

I wake up with a smile on my face. Finally, I got to see my best friend again.

I get up and walk to the bathroom. I looked like a lunatic with the smile that's plastered on my face. I rinsed my face, brushed my teeth, and put my hair up in a bun.

I walk to my suitcase and picked my outfit. I decided to wear a plain white tank top and a high waisted jean shorts. Today will just be a lazy day for me and I'll just buy lots of food from the store and get cozy after.

I put on my vans and grab my purse. I'm all set to get my lazy day started.

I exited my hotel room, walking up to the elevator and waiting for it to open. I hear the familiar ding sound and I look at the door, seeing a happy couple which looked like they were going swimming. I get inside the elevator and press the button for the ground floor.

Since the store was near, I just opted to get over my laziness and walk to my destination. I walk inside, surprised to see a fair amount of people shopping. Since it was summer and we're in the city, I expected the shop to be filled with people buying food for camping and other shit like that.

I went to the junk food section and looked through the chips selection. I decided to get a party sized bag of salted potato chips, a pack of TimTam's, two bottles of Coke, and five bottles of water. I stand in the cashier line and wait for my turn. I looked at the packs of candies, deciding if I should buy Skittles aka my favorites.

"You know, I'm gonna buy you those Skittles if you won't." I heard someone say behind me. I look around to see Luke standing holding a bottle of Vegemite and a loaf of bread.

Typical Lucas.

"Hey!" I smiled at him.

"So, what's with all of those?" He asked, eyeing all of the food inside my basket. "Oh, I'm just having a lazy day today. Ya know, just watching Netflix and stuff." I reply

"Oh, how could I not know. You're always watching Netflix even since we were young."

"Netflix is bæ"

"Yeah yeah right." We both laugh. I miss talking to Luke.

It was my turn to pay for my items so I put my basket on the counter and let the cashier guy named Chris scan it.
I give him my money after he totaled everything and thanked him when he gave me my bag. I look at my phone messages while I wait for Luke. My family's been freaking out and won't stop asking me if I'm alright and if I'm having fun. I quickly respond with "Yes, thanks for asking" and "love you guys lots" and looked at Luke after he finished paying for his stuff. We walk out of the store together and talked at the same time.

"Here you go," Luke says, handing me a bag of Skittles.

"Omygod Luke, you're the best! Thank you!" I said, taking the bag from his hand and hugging him.

"Hey, um, do you, ya know, uh, join me? I mean it's okay if you don't want to-"

"Yes, Mandy, I'd love to join your lazy day." He smiled, to my relief.

I wish I could write better like my favorite authors to be honest.
But yeah, small filler.

School ends in 3 weeks bleh.
If someone would answer this, when does your school year end? Did you get out already?
