This is all very informal. The basic concept is you promote your book here and then after, grab a book you think looks great and a check it out.

I don't want really have the time to check everything so please make sure to follow these, there aren't very many rules at all.

Here we go-

1) Please shout this book on your message board so others see it.

2) Please find the chapter with your book's Category, or closet to it.

3) Please use the inline form to promote your book in the comments; make it sound fun! Entice your readers to pick this up! This is called a brag book for a reason, brag about it! We want to hear how much you love your book!

4) Find a book (any book) from any of the books in here, the chapters being in the book category will make it easier to shop around.

5) Once you found a book you want to read, comment on that inline - adding this! So, the author knows someone picked up their book!

6) You must read at least 3 chapters of the book you chose. Please make sure you show you are reading the chapters by leaving at least a few comments.
((You need to spend at least five minutes reading the chapter for Wattpad to count you as an engaged reader.))

Side note; Please start reading their book within a week of accepting it.

If you enjoy the book after the three chapters, please continue to read it at your leisure!

7) You can plug as many books as you like, BUT you must read three chaps of a book for each book you post, so don't take on more than you can chew.

8) Please be respectful and courteous both in comments and anywhere else during this read exchange.

9) This is to share and read for fun, so fun comments only. If you want to offer critique, please message the author privately first, as we don't want to offend anyone. This is all for fun and to get more reads!

10) No spamming, one post per book, if you decide to redo your post to make it more enticing, please delete your old one first.

Notes:

This book is all-inclusive there will not be a question about if there are LGBTQ themes in the books. All are welcome here.

Why only three chapters? So, it doesn't feel so daunting, with read for reads it can feel overwhelming to know you're committing to a long book, especially since many of us have various read exchanges ongoing.

Three chaps will get the author a new engaged reader in Wattpad stats, helping with that algorithm. Which helps bring in those silent readers and three chaps are usually enough for a reader to determine if a book is for them.

If someone doesn't continue after the three, don't take offense! Remember we all have differing interests and opinion. The reads still helped boost your book! Plus, someone else could pick it up if it's still in here.

With this informal set up, some people could get several reads from this, and some may not get any. That's just the way the cookie crumbles. Please do not DM me if you don't get a reader from this, instead maybe look at what's 'selling' and delete and redo your plug.

Again-Sell your book! Brag it up! Use quotes, blurb, reader reviews, make it enticing!
