"Tell me it tastes nice," Jungwon demanded.

"It fucking tastes like grass!"

"You like it, though! You're literally lying," Jungwon teased as Sunoo grimaced dramatically.

Jungwon attempted to push his drink towards Sunoo again, urging the other to take another sip.

"Get that monstrosity away from me."

Jungwon just laughed as he sat back on his chair and took another sip of his drink. He watched Sunoo discreetly beneath his lashes, which he long found had become a habit of his. The other usually caught him doing it absentmindedly, but Jungwon could not help himself.

He was reminded of the first time he saw Sunoo at the bar, months ago. He remembered asking himself why a beautiful man would look so lonely. He prided himself on not being a pussy and approaching Sunoo— and of course, taking him home that night.

He fantasized about doing the same thing again. He wanted to hear Sunoo plead and writhe in pleasure on his satin sheets as he did before, but Jungwon did not want to force his desires on someone he deemed so precious.

There really was something about Sunoo, almost like a magnetic pull. Jungwon wanted to worship the other; cherish him, care for him, patronize him, and love him. He was simping hard and he was not the least bit apologetic about it.

"You're being creepy again," Sunoo said.

Jungwon chuckled, realizing that he had been caught staring. "You're really pretty, you know that?"

A blush crept on Sunoo's cheeks.

"I know," he said as he feigned confidence, but looked away bashfully.

Moments later, they prepared themselves to leave.

They were on their way back to Seda Hotel so Jungwon could sleep for the night, but suddenly—

"S-sunny?..."

Sunoo froze in his tracks upon hearing the voice.

He turned around slowly, wishing, praying, begging that it was not who he thought it was. But as he met the familiar almond-shaped eyes of Sunghoon Park, his beloved childhood friend, he realized that his prayers had not been heard.

Love was not a foreign word to Sunoo.

Love was a memory.

Love was the eyes that he adored, and the voice that he cherished. Love was the sound of laughter on Sunday afternoons playing Mario Kart. Love was the feeling of the fresh breeze as he rode his bike toward the other's house. Love was the satisfaction of having someone to always cry to, or complain to, or escape to when he wanted to run away from home. Love was the feeling of rough hands, skating rinks, the smell of sweat, and tennis courts.

Love was a memory, and the memory itself was filled with Sunghoon Park.

"Kuya Sunghoon..." (note: Kuya=hyung or older male)

The older male walked slowly toward where they stood, almost in disbelief.

"I didn't know you were back. You didn't tell me," Sunghoon said.

"It was just a sudden visit. Lola wanted to see me."

"Right," Sunghoon said. "I-it's... it's been so long."

Sunoo averted his eyes and looked down at his shoes.

"Yeah, well. I got a bit busy."

"Law school right?" Sunghoon asked "Ateneo Law School?"
