POV Ryujin

I am jogging as fast as I can looking for this classroom because I am already 15 minutes late and I realise it is on the opposite side of the school. I didn't mean to be late to class but I am glad I was. I cleared up things with Yeji and the day should only go up from here. I enter the classroom and all eyes are on me.

"Ryujin?" The teacher says.

"Yes, that's me. I am so sorry for being late I didn't hear the bell and lost track of time." I say far too quickly.

"Your the foreign exchange student right." The teachers says.

"Yes."

"Not an excuse for being ALMOST 20 MINUTES LATE." She says borderline yelling. What is her deal?

"Where were you that you didn't hear the bell. Actually don't answer that, tell me the whole story." She asks.

"Me and my friend were in an argument so I pulled her into the janitors closet so we can talk without others hearing." I say honestly.

"You went in the janitors closet to talk? Interesting. Go talk to the Council president later today. Your lucky I am not sending you to the office." The teacher says.

I sit down in the only empty sit and I get handed a new camera to by this girl.

"Where are you from?" She asks me.

"Korea." I reply.

"I am from Korea too!" She says loudly.

"Cool, we have something in common." I say.

"I'm Ryujin by the way." I say while grinning.

"I'm Yuna nice to meet you."

"This class is usually for upperclassmen but my guidance counsellor let me take this class since I was advanced in photography."

"Are you a freshman or sophomore?" I ask.

"I'm a sophomore! Do I look like a little freshman? I bet I am taller than you!" She says with attitude. I laugh at her.

"So you're the baby of the class." I say as if I am talking to a child.

"Shut up."

"So rude." I tell her.

"Were you really only talking in the janitors closet?"

"Yes! I swear on my life. It is the first day of school I am not doing all that."

"You got in an argument on the first day of school so you are doing all that." Yuna says while flipping her hair.

"I swear I am not problematic. I probably won't be late to a single class for the rest of the semester." I say confidently.

"There's a reason you used probably in that sentence. Even you're second guessing yourself on that one." Yuna tells me.

"Whatever."

"Alright class your first assignment is to get into pairs and take pictures of each other. You are not aloud to use props, just the camera and your partner. You can still be creative with poses and angles." The teacher tells the students.

"Partners?" Yuna asks me.

"I'll have to think about that." I say. Yuna hits my shoulder.

"I definitely won't be your partner if you abuse me."

"Ok. Ok." She says sharply.

"I guess I'll be your partner." I say while rolling my eyes and looking away.
