After making up with Yeji we talked until I got a call from Mrs. Kim saying that I need to go. I hug Yeji goodbye. I get in the car and it's just me and Bangchan.

"Are you going to Felix's party tonight?" He asks me.

"I don't know." I reply honestly.

"You have to go if you're gonna keep talking to Ramona and her friends." He says.

"I guess I'll go." I say.

"If our parents ask what we are doing tomorrow night say we are camping." Bangchan says. I chuckle.

"That's a thing here?" I ask.

"It is one of the only reasons people come here." He assures me.

"We are so screwed." I say.

We arrive at home giving me time to wind down and chill. I grow anxious about the party. I mean I have never partied in America before and I wasn't a big partier in Korea. I mean there wasn't really time to party in Korea. I then think about what I have to do before the party. Saturday detention with Chaeryeong... I mean I still like Chaeryeong but I can't keep messing around with her. I haven't told Mr. and Mrs. Kim about my Saturday detention because I don't want them to think I'm a trouble maker. 

Chaeryeong told me that she was going to pick me up tomorrow morning and drive me to school. At dinner I'm gonna tell Mr. and Mrs. Kim that I will be studying at the local library early tomorrow with friends. 

I am scrolling through tiktok on my phone until I get a message from a new group chat.

Alright girls we need to look extra hot for the first party of the year.

You are way too excited. It's gonna be a bunch of drunk people and stoners going crazy and having sex.

Lia

Sounds like fun....

Anyways, you can come to my house to get ready.

Lia

Your parents are letting you after everything?!?!

Chaeryeong

Yeah. I have been extra helpful this week and they have already been punishing me enough this week.

Lia

Alright. What are y'all wearing?

I'm wearing a white mini dress.

I don't have anything to wear, like my shipping container hasn't come in yet.
