ACHILLES' POV (T/W Acts of intimacy)

The next day things were better. We woke up, ate breakfast, went on our usual walk and then we sat at our favourite spot. Patroclus was enjoying this very much, since we hadn't done that for quite some time. Well, this and other things.
Neoptolemus had found a friend of his and they decided to spend the day together, so Patroclus and I had the day to ourselves. He reached for my hand and smiled softly.

- I can't remember the last time we came here and just sat like there's nothing wrong, he said.

- That's true, I said, but what's also true it's that now there's literally nothing wrong. Just enjoy, Patroclus, I told him smiling back.

- The truth is, he said, that I miss our old life sometimes. I know, that's the reason your mother took you away and it's been hard but sometimes I feel like there's nothing to do here.

- Well, there's one thing that we enjoyed there that we can enjoy here too, I said teasingly.

- And do I know what it is?

- Trust me, you love it, I said kissing him.

- Don't wanna ruin the moment, he said, but could we take it to the room? I am really looking forward, he said.

- I have an idea, I said. Let's make it more exciting.

Patroclus looked at me with a confused face. He fixed his hair, sat down again and then realised what I meant.

- Achilles!

His cheeks had turned red and he was looking at his feet. This reminded me of our young selves, who hadn't had the courage to tell eachother what they felt. I smiled at him widely, then took his hand.

- There's no one here, I said. What do you say?

- I didn't realise that you'd like something like that, he said. But what if someone sees us?

- Why do we have to think of the worst scenario? Just come here, I said opening my arms.

He hugged me tight and kissed my lips. I kissed him back, then decided make this more interesting.

- Wanna go behind the rocks? No one can see us from there, I said.

- How did we not think of that earlier? But we have to be quiet, he said.

- Just keep kissing me and that may happen, I said and took his hand into mine.

We checked if someone could see us and then went behind the rocks. There wasn't much space, but we were determined to make it work. Patroclus suggested we don't lay down yet, just in case.
I was filled with lots of feelings, I couldn't stop kissing Patroclus. I planted little kisses on his lips, then on his neck and I continued my way down. Patroclus stoped me right at the time when this would get intense. He kissed me passionately and quickly worked his way down. It was the first time we did such a thing in public and also the first time Patroclus and I were so passionate. Patroclus then started sucking. I let out a loud gasp, I didn't expect this to happen. My breath was getting quicker and heavier, my legs were trembling while I had to keep standing up and keeping my mouth shut, even though I tried very hard not to scream his name. I started breathing heavier and heavier when Patroclus looked into my eyes while continuing what he's been doing. I couldn't help it any longer and I let out a sound when I felt that amazing feeling all over my body. Patroclus quickly got up and covered my mouth.

- Sorry, I said, but that was amazing.

- Your turn, he said while pushing me down to his legs.

I started doing to him the same things he did to me. Patroclus was holding my head with his one hand and covered his mouth with the other. As I continued, Patroclus was having difficulty keeping quiet. I started going faster and faster, until Patroclus felt as good as I did just minutes before. We decided not to continue any further, as it was time for us to return to our room. We ate lunch, spoke to some friends, met some new people and returned home.

The same night, Neoptolemus was knocking our door nonstop.

- Father, Patroclus, open up, we need to talk.

Patroclus gave me a worried look as I got up to open the door. Neoptolemus came inside and sat down, looking pretty upset.

- Well, I said, can you tell us what happened?

- I learned some shocking news today and I just can't calm down because people are saying that it might be just rumors.

- What was it, son?

- People are saying that a huge disaster happened in Skyros, dad. Everything was destroyed, by a huge rain. People are constantly saying that many people died, including the king and Princess and I'm pretty worried about my mother, he said.

- Everything is going to be alright, I said. Don't jump into conclusions.

I sat next to him and hugged him tight. I could tell he was crying, his eyes were red and puffy. Patroclus sat next to him from the other side.

- Your father is right, Patroclus said. Think positive, everything will be fine.

- Thank you, Neoptolemus said. I wish you guys are right and I don't have to worry about anything. I'll go to my room, he said.

- If you need anything, we're only a few rooms apart, Patroclus said.

- See you tomorrow, he said and left.

Patroclus sat down and sighed. The truth is, we had heard the rumors too, earlier that day, from some people we met on the way home. It was true that there were some new comers who happened to be from Skyros, but how much of a coincidence could this be? I sat next to him and looked him in the eyes. Most of the people here were talking about this, even the people wwe trusted. We sat quiet and looked at eachother with a worried face. If this was true, how would Neoptolemus react? Would he still be supportive of our relationship or would he pressure me to form a society-appropriate relationship with the mother of my child? Thoughts were crawling up my head, making me anxious, even if she was alive we'd meet again at some point. Like he read my thoughts, Patroclus looked at me and tp;d me that nothing is gonna happen. And that's exactly when I realised that no matter what, love always wins.
