A FRIEND?

"I'm not done with you." the guy pointed at Por with a threatening face, thinking that he could scare the shit out of him, Liming just stares at him, giving him a death stare, before he completely coalesced in the crowd.

Pft he's not even scary at all.

His attention went back to the guy after it lets out a tiny sob. "Hey are you feeling okay?" he said worriedly, trying to get him up.

"Yeah, yeah I'm fine..." he sniffled. "I'm actually pretty used to it, but t-thanks." he replied, trying his best not be teary eyed.

"Are you sure? do you want to sit down for a while? Who even are they?" inviting him to sit down in the bench near them.

"I'm Liming by the way..."  as he raised his hand, proposing for a handshake.

this feeling is different, and I feel different, I've never introduced myself to others since.

"Por. I'm Por." he replied, proposing his hand to Liming as-well, and made a handshake. "It's nice meeting you, Por." he adds.

What is this? does this mean that I have a friend now? And I'm the one who made the move first?

"About my question earlier, your don't have to answer them you know, specially if you're not comfortable to talk about it." Liming added.

"Y-yeah, thanks again Liming, for helping me out there... they could've done worse than that honestly." Por said while he puts his right hand on his head, gazing downwards, and having a little shaky voice. He's embarrassed but also happy at the same time.

He's happy because finally, there's someone who gets to help him, this is also new for Por, because just like Liming people like him is never relevant to anyone.

"Don't thank me, I'm sure others would help you too like I did–" Liming scoffs sarcastically because they both know it will never happen. Obviously because people initiate them differently neither physically or not.

Suddenly his watch started beeping, means that his next class will start very soon.

"Oh sorry about that I- uh- actually need to go to my next class, is it okay if I'll leave you here?" asking Por sounding a little apologetic all of a sudden.

"Yes of course, I'm sorry if I hold you up–"

"No please, don't be, it's nothing I promise. I'll get going now, I'll see you around Por." as he waves goodbye, leaving him a little smile.

Even though he wants to stay to interact a little bit more, its really a must for him to not miss a single class.

History Class, it's his favorite, but everybody's nightmare.

"Please turn your page to 313." their professor stated. And the flipping pages sound are heard from here and there.

"The Pager Phone?" Liming stated– full of curiosity.
but he snaps out of it when the teacher expounds what's this for.

"Our topic for today's all about Pager Phones, Pager phones are devices that allow you to receive and send text messages, but they're not like the phones we use today. They were popular in the 1990s and were often used by doctors, emergency responders, and others who needed to be able to receive and respond to messages quickly while on the go. While pager phones have largely been replaced by smartphones, they are still used in some industries and by some individuals who prefer their reliability and simplicity." she elucidates, that left the students in the room amused, including Liming.

"Ah, now it makes sense, but how does it actually work though?" he whispered to himself, and getting more interested about it.

He was just about to ask their professor, not until he heard the school bells ring. It's break time.

Break time already? that's fast.

"Well, I guess that's all for today, you may take your break. I'll see you guys on Wednesday." as their professor piled up his things then proceeds to leave.

"Aigh wrong timing." He sulks while piling up his things as well, and walks out ahead of their room.

Never mind, I'm hungry
