THE NIGHT WHERE HIS GWEN STACY DIED.

DEATH is something that you never question. Because it will always come to us all. Several components and gears of the clock tower have fallen from their place, destroyed debris of bricks that have fallen with it. Heavy breathing is all he can hear. His breathing, with his senses gone haywire, why wasn't she breathing?

Gently pulling her into his arms as he cradles her fragile body "Please... Gwen?" he pleaded, his voice breaking down at the end as he softly caresses her hair "Wake up." he said, cupping her cheeks as he tries to shake her up "Cariño?" he calls her out one last time. Tears stream down from his eyes as he immediately hugged her form, sobbing uncontrollably.

He promised her father that he'll look out for her and wouldn't let anything bad happen to her and he failed. He fucking broke that promise.

"Please... I can't do this without you. Please don't leave me.." Of how many times he has to plead, Gwen Stacy laid on his arms with no response and with no more life. No words are enough to describe such tremendous pain he felt at this moment. If he was just fast enough to reach her.

Remembering her scream as the explosion occurred. Platforms and metal bars around them are sliced in half. And before Gwen knew it, she felt her body falling backward through the air, screaming sharply out of fear and terror, not being able to hold any railings that might save herself from falling further down. Her eyes were wide, her arm reaching out as she felt her heart rummaging.

She watched as her MATTHEO successfully puts the goblin unconscious as the hideous face moves away from the building, squeezing her eyes shut as she let out one last gasp, feeling a sharp pain through her neck her mind suddenly went blank as well as the sight, as she lasts sees Mattheo shooting his web towards her falling state.

The last thing she heard was the call of her lover before everything faded away.

"Stay with Me, Gwen. Stay with me..." He pleads repeatedly, sobbing completely when blood drips from her nose.

In a starry night sky, He started at her grave—dirt piled on her casket. It's been weeks after her funeral, and there he was again, visiting her tombstone with such a tired and unrecognizable gaze that held so much pain and emotions that he bottled up. Everything stopped when Gwen was gone. He barely sleeps and when he tries to do so, the memory has been always on repeat. Crimes start to pile up again and new criminals are on the loose.

"It's been 4 weeks, Gwen," he whispered.

"Mattheo Molina?" a gruff voice calls out behind him. Glancing over his shoulder, he sees a tall and well-built man standing with an unfazed and intimidating look.

"Do I know you, sir?" he asks, turning to face him with hands around his pocket, blankly looking at him. Over the man's earpiece, he heard a woman chuckling over his dry question "He kinda sounds like you." the man let out a deep sigh.

"To answer your question, you don't know me but I know you." Mattheo quickly narrowed his eyes as he starts to get cautious of the man in front of him. Walking slowly around the man before he quickly shoots his web toward the man's wrist, which took the man by surprise, he barely caught the web as it took a device around his wrist.

"Miguel," Mattheo swore the woman behind that voice began to panic when the watch was now in his possession. He quickly analyzes the device before smiling softly "Not from here, señor?" he asks, rocking the device in front of Miguel before tossing it back to him who catches it swiftly.
