Gray's Dream

"Hello?"

All around there was nothing but sheer white light and the sound of unnerving silence. It was almost a sinister aura in the frosty atmosphere, making my toned body shiver. Stepping into the space before me, I fell, plumitting down into the unknown. With a harsh thud I landed, the earthy meadow beneath lessening the impact of the fall.

'Where am I?'

I scanned the clearing, until my eyes landed on a creature in the distance. I could tell it was human, and silently I crept towards the individual. The background again changed, and I found myself in a small white-walled room. I was close to the figure now, able to identify the being.A male with obsidian eyes and pink spiked hair jutting out from every angle on his head. He wore a red sweatshirt and black sweatpants, fiddling with his digits. He muttered to himself  unintelligibly before leaning back against the wall to stare at the ceiling.

'Natsu?'

This made me take a step back, eyes widening in surprise.

What the-?

Natsu's head shot up as somebody banged loudly on the outside of his door. Cursing, he pushed himself off the cot he had been resting on and stretched his arms out. I watched silently as he moved with elegance towards the small lumped bed on the other side of the small room and shook the blankets. A mousey blonde haired man rose from under the covers rubbing his eyes as he grumbled something incoherent. Natsu laughed at what the other had groused and turned around to grab shoes from underneath his sleeping place. It took awhile before he was able to finish slipping them on. I was shocked to find I couldn't move my legs after a moment when I tried to step forward. He seemed to have heard my frustrated grunt however when his eyes scanned the room. The minute his eyes locked with mine they narrowed suspiciously glaring my way.

"What are you staring at?" I questioned him as he stared at me. He blinked, his gaze observing my movements.

"What are you doing here anyway?" I asked him when he remained non responding to my previous question. He lingered quietly, gazing straight into my eyes. After what seemed like forever he shrugged, glancing away at the mousey blonde. His companion had risen out of the bed by then and was heading for the exit, calling the pinkette to follow. With one last glance he turned around and began to make his way out of the room. I tried to follow him, but my legs would no longer cooperate with my body.

"Natsu! Wait up flame-brain!" I hollered, only for my voice to disappear into silence. Darkness began to capture hold of the room and I tried to race out of there, only to be held back by the ground. Shadowy 'arms' began to slither up my legs and enrapture my body and I began to cry out for Natsu's assistance. To no avail however he closed the door behind him and the remaining light shattered into obscurity.
