Untitled Part 3

Lucy walked into the guild hall, shuffling silently over to the bar. She was depressed, as anyone would be after their best friend commited suicide.

Who wouldn't?

So far, most things have gone back to normal, but the occasional 'Hows Natsu?' Or 'Wheres salamander?' Sets off a depressing mood. It still was hard to speak about Natsu, let alone set of any guild fights. The fact was everyone missed the rowdy dragon slayer. That would never change.

"Everyone, come look! I found a injured cat and two kittens, we gotta help them!"

Most of the guild rushed outside, seeing a small cardboard box that Romeo, Wendy and Asuka found. Inside was a badly bleeding female cat with white fur and intense black eyes. Her kittens also had wounds, one have worse injuries than the other. Gently, Mira, Lucy, Lisanna and Wendy carried the cats inside, making way to the infirmary. Most of the guild went back to what they where doing, not interested in the mangled cats.

"Momma cats dead"

Lucy's heart ached at the statement.

The two other cats, the kittens, where checked by Wendy and Mira. One, the female kitten, had a beautiful white coat blotched red with blood. She wasn't Breathing. The other kitten, a male, had a extremely fluffy pink coat with a small white heart on its chest. Red splattered its tiny crooked form.

Lucy gently took a towel, rubbing the tiny pink kitten. After some time, it stirred, mewing softly. He opened his kitty eyes, blinking at her.

"Mew"

Aw~!

"Wendy, we got one still alive"

Wendy rushed over to Lucy, taking the kitten from her hands. She rushed her magic through his little body, healing what was wounded. He mewed, struggling as his body, which was no bigger than five inches long, was continuously rubbed, trying to warm and keep him breathing. After some time he was given back to Lucy, purring as held the dear kitten to her chest. Lisanna then came in with a bottle of Luke warm milk, and the miniature kitten suckled on the nozzle.

"What are we gonna name him?"

The girls looked around at each other, hopeing the others may have an idea. The kitten stopped 'eating' his meal, hacking. White covered his muzzle, purring as he was satisfied with the meal. Lisanna, who now had the little kitten, gently wiped his muzzle.

"How about piggy? He drank the whole bottle that's twice his size"

The girls giggled, noticing how his little kitty belly rounded.

"Fluffy, cause his furs super soft and fluffy"

"Thats a girls name..."

"Pink, cause he's pink"

"Yah, no"

"What about Blaze?"

The girls nodded, deciding that was the one.

Lucy picked up the small kitten, holding him up to her face.

"Hello Blaze, I'm Lucy"

Blaze purred.

She kissed the little heart on his chest, before placing him down on the infirmary bed.
