Chapter 4: Megan Learns

Over the next few weeks, Megan learns a lot from her care giving classes. She learned how to properly and more efficiently change diapers, how to properly burp a little, how to properly bathe a little, how to feed a little, how to keep a little out of dangerous things while they're regressed, and more. Megan felt confident about her ability to care for Katie now.

It was now late October and Megan was getting ready for her final care giving class before Halloween. This class was going to teach about proper Halloween etiquette for caregivers and littles. So, Megan dressed herself in a spooky themed outfit to get into the seasonal mood. She wore a black t-shirt with skeletons on it, a black skirt with a spider web design along the bottom, orange and black striped tube socks, and black mary janes. She dressed Katie in her favorite outfit: her light blue bunny footie pajamas with a bunny hood and bunny feet complete with stuffed tails, as well as putting light blue larger sized baby mittens on her hands to keep her hands warm and out of trouble.

She picked up Katie and carried her into the daycare, placing her into the playroom with staff watching over her. Megan then walked into the care giving lecture room, in which she was the only student, and got ready to learn. The professor was Sam, the same professor who was initially Katie's remedial algebra professor. "Alright Megan! Halloween is tomorrow and I'm here to teach you how to take Katie trick-or-treating.", he explains. "I'm gonna level with you here, this lesson isn't meant to be formal. It's just supposed to be me telling you best practices to taking a little trick-or-treating.", he continued. "Okay, I understand.", Megan responded. "Okay. So firstly, keep in mind that Halloween is a day for them, so listen to Katie and what she wants to do for Halloween. She may want you to go up and ask for candy with her since you're still a teen yourself, so be prepared for her to potentially ask for that. In addition, especially with how young she is regressed too, be sure to keep her from seeing things that are too scary for a newborn to see, like zombies and things like that.", Sam explains. "Okay.", Megan says, mentally taking notes. "And lastly, my final piece of advice is to take it easy with her. She's very small and waddles because of her diapers, so don't walk too far on foot with her. Drive her around if necessary.", he explained. "Okay, I will. Thank you Sam.", Megan says. "Of course Megan. I'll be seeing you around campus if you ever wanna talk between now and Tuesday.", Sam said, leaving the room, Megan following close behind. Megan picks up Katie from the daycare and takes her out to the parking lot, buckling her into her car seat. "Where we going?", Katie asked. "We're going to the clothes store so you can pick out what we wear for Halloween tomorrow!", Megan replied, driving off towards the store, which is only a couple minutes away.

The girls arrive at the clothes store and Megan unbuckles Katie from her car seat, carrying her inside. Megan walks around the store, waiting for Katie to point out anything she wants her or Megan to wear tomorrow. When they're near the adult pajamas section, Katie speaks up, "That fow mommy!", pointing at a pair of pink footie pajamas with teddy bears printed on them. "Okay sweetie.", Megan said, putting in the cart, suddenly worried about what Katie wants her to go as. Her worries are confirmed when Katie points out pink adult sized baby mittens with the same matching teddy bear print on them. She puts them in the cart and asks Katie, "What exactly do you want me to go as, little one?". "Mommy dwess wike baby fow hawwoween!", Katie exclaims. Megan simply nods and goes along with it, taking Sam's advice and doing what her little says. When they get to the kids' clothes section, Katie points to a pink fairy dress, complete with fairy wings. Megan smiles and puts it in the cart, getting her matching fairy like shoes and socks, as well as a toy wand to complete the costume. Megan checks out and drives them back to the college and they go into their dorm for the rest of the day.

The following day, Megan was watching tv after they both had lunch when Katie said, "Let's wear our costumes for the rest of the day so we feel comfy in them when we go trick-or treating!". Megan, not wanting to say no to her little girl, agrees. "Mommy fiwst! And mommy wear diapie since she going as baby!", Katie exclaimed. Megan's jaw dropped. She had to wear one of Katie's diapers?! Nervously, she nodded to Katie and walked into Katie's nursery, grabbing a super thick pink diaper with teddy bears printed on it. At least it matched the rest of her outfit, she thought. She carried the thick garment into her room and got changed. She diapered herself using the same techniques she learned to do with Katie. Then, she put on the footie pajamas and zipped them up, put her hair into pigtails to match the baby aesthetic, and stepped out of her room, showing her outfit to Katie. "How do I look?", Megan asked, blushing. "Aw! You look so cute!", Katie said, hugging Megan. "Thank you sweetie, now let's get my little fairy all dressed up!", Megan said, taking Katie into her nursery and removing her footie pajamas, finding it ironic that she was going to be wearing footie pajamas while Katie will be wearing a dress. Nevertheless, she put the cute pink dress onto Katie, then put the socks and shoes on, and finishing by giving Katie the wand. "Yay, fankie mommy!", Katie cheered. "Wait a minute, mommy need da mittens!", Katie realized and said. Megan went into her room and put on the mittens obediently, now unable to do much with her hands. At least she could still open doors and drive, she thought to herself. Megan waddled over to Katie and brought her back out to the living room.
