Chapter 5: Kate and Megan's New Lives

Megan and Kate woke up early the following morning, having fittingly slept like babies. Mrs Hathaway heard them waking up from the baby monitor that was placed in their nursery, so she walked over to their nursery to check on the babies. "Good morning babies!", Mrs Hathaway said as she entered the nursery. She checked both girls' diapers and Katie had thoroughly used hers as usual, causing Mrs Hathaway to change her immediately. She then checked Megan's diaper and found that Megan had both wet and messed her diaper, albeit not as much as Katie. "My my, Meg! You used your diapie like a true little baby!", her mother said, surprised that Meg had used her diaper. Meg was confused, she never had any kind of incontinence issue before and even outgrew diapers at a younger than usual age. With tears in her eyes, the girl said, "I-I don't know how that happened! I shouldn't have done that!", causing her mom to hug her. "Sh, it's okay baby girl, mommy's here. This is why mommy wanted to take you back in, little one.", her mother consoled her. Mrs Hathaway picked her daughter up and carried her over to the changing table, removing her messy diaper. "What design does my baby girl want her diapie to have now?", Mrs Hathaway asked. "Same one please.", Megan replied, not realizing she was still holding Cocoa. Her mother found it cute that her daughter wanted to wear diapers with the design of her teddy bear printed on it, so she happily obliged her daughter's request. She wiped up and powdered her dirty baby girl, then taped the new diaper up securely. "There, all better Meg!", Mrs Hathaway said, patting her daughter's padded butt. Megan blushed from that, feeling like such a baby.

"None of your baby clothes will fit you anymore Megan, nor do we have any adult sized baby clothes like Katie does. So, what do you wanna do for clothes, little one?", Meg's mother asked. "Can I just wear my footie pajamas please?", Megan asked, finding a lot of comfort in the footie pajamas, being very glad that Katie picked it out as her Halloween costume. "Of course sweetie. We'll be heading to the store later to pick you out some more adult sized baby clothes anyway. Just you and me, mother and daughter!", her mother explained. "What about Katie?", Meg asked, worried about the small girl who was her own little girl. "She'll be staying home with daddy so she can get to know her new daddy.", Mrs Hathaway answered. "Her daddy? But aren't I her mommy?", Meg asked nervously. "Sweetie, you don't have to be anymore. We took you in as our baby again, your father and I want you to be less stressed. We want you to be happy, and you seemed the happiest we've seen in years last night when you came by dressed in your footie pajamas, diaper, and pacifier. And plus, I don't think you could really take care of Katie with your teddy bear always in one of your hands.", Mrs Hathaway stated. Meg finally realized that she was indeed holding Cocoa, albeit barely because of the adult sized baby mittens still on her hands, and sighed, realizing her mother was right. "Okay, you win. I'm a baby just like Katie. But, can I at least be the big sister?", Meg asked, wanting to at least still have higher authority than Katie. "Yeah, me wan big sissy!", Katie chimed in. "Of course Meg! You're way bigger than Katie, obviously you're the big sister.", Mrs Hathaway answered. 

"Now, does the baby sister wanna be changed out of her costume from last night and into some nice, comfy baby clothes?", Mrs Hathaway asked. "Yeah, me wan footies wike big sissy!", Katie exclaimed. "Of course baby girl!", mommy answered, grabbing Katie's favorite light blue bunny footies and putting them on her gently. "Big sis need to match!", Katie said, wanting Meg to have a similar matching outfit to her. "Of course Katie, I'll look for a matching bunny footie sleeper for Meg while we're shopping.", mommy responded. "Not just footies, hew haiw too! Meg have pastew haiw wike me?", Katie asked, wanting Meg to have pastel dyed hair like her. "That's a great idea! Meg sweetie, what's your favorite pastel color?", mommy asked Meg. Meg blushed and pointed to her footie pajamas, feeling too shy to talk. "Okay, we can do that! Pink hair it is for my baby girl!", mommy exclaimed, picking Meg up and taking her into the bathroom. She sets Meg in front of the mirror and grabs the non-fading pastel pink dye and dyes Meg's hair, turning her hair from a light brown to a light baby pink, and finishing Meg's hair by tying it into pigtails. "There we go! Open your eyes now, little one!", mommy exclaims. Meg opens her eyes and sees her baby pink hair tied into pigtails and smiles, hugging mommy. "Thank you so much mommy! It's so cute!", Meg said, nuzzling into her mother's neck. "Of course sweetie. Let mommy feed you baby girls breakfast, then we'll head to the store, okay?", mommy asked. "Otay mommy.", Meg replies, having fully slipped into littlespace for the first time.

Mommy sets Meg in the nursery next to Katie to play as she gets their breakfast around. Meg just plays around with Cocoa while Katie shakes rattles. Mommy comes back into the nursery with two baby bottles in her hands. "Okay babies, breakfast is here!", she says, causing the girls to turn to her. Katie crawls up and grabs her bottle out of mommy's hand, drinking it without help. Meg tries to do the same, but can't grasp the bottle with the mittens on her hands. "Aw, baby Meg needs mommy's help? That's fine with me!", mommy said, picking up Meg and sitting on the rocking horse with Meg on her lap. She brings the baby bottle to Meg's lips and says, "Drink up baby girl!". Meg happily obliges, suckling on the bottle's nipple and drinking the sweet tasting milk. Both girls finish their bottles after a few minutes. "Okay babies! Katie, you go downstairs and join daddy on the couch, he's gonna be watching after you while Meg and I do some shopping , okay?", mommy requests. Katie nods and waddles downstairs, having put a pacifier in her mouth before leaving the nursery. "As for you Meg, let's go out to the car and get going.", mommy continued. "Me need footweaw wike wast night?", Meg asked, thinking she'll need to wear her teddy bear slippers like she did while trick-or-treating the previous night. "No sweetie, you don't need to walk at all. Mommy will lift you to and from the car, and you'll be in one of the shopping cart sidecars once we're there.", mommy explained, picking up Meg and heading downstairs and out the door.

Mommy opens the right side rear door of her car, revealing an adult-sized car seat. She sits Meg in it and buckles her up securely, Meg simply cuddling Cocoa as she does. Mommy then gets into the driver's seat and drives to the clothes store. They arrive after about a 20 minute drive, the same clothing store Meg took Katie to 2 days ago to pick out their Halloween costumes. Luckily, the store has an entire section for adult sized baby clothes, something Meg was glad that Katie wasn't aware of when they went. Mommy grabs Meg and brings her to the shopping carts, setting her in the sidecar extension of one and grabbing that cart. Mommy walks throughout the store and reaches the adult sized baby clothes section. She puts all of the clothes Meg requests into the cart, mostly being footie pajamas, but some onesies and mittens as well. They then find the animal costume footie pajamas rack. Meg immediately points to a teddy bear one with attached mittens and a bear hood. Mommy then finds exactly what Katie wanted: a pink version of Katie's blue bunny footies. Mommy puts it in the cart as well as a few more that Meg wanted. Mommy checks out and drives herself and her baby girl back home.

When they get home, Katie is cuddling with daddy in a very smelly diaper. Mommy sighs and changes Katie before bringing Meg's clothes upstairs. She brings Meg up as well, and Katie immediately demands for Meg to be changed into the matching pink bunny footie pajamas. Meg reluctantly agrees and mommy changes her into the pink bunny footies. Mommy also got both girls matching mittens that go with their bunny footies, so she puts those on the babies as well. Katie hugs Meg, happy about their matching outfits. Meg reciprocates the hug and the babies go back to playing like they did before breakfast. Katie and Meg sit in their nursery, innocently playing, loving their new, permanent lives.
