This is a story between two young students who have an equal personality. But it all changed because of a tragedy that transpired in just one night.

Theo is a promising young son of a rich family. He is talented and smart. Loved by many people. He has everything he could ask for in his life. But unfortunately, he also has things he didn't need.
The hate and envy of other people.
Hatred can go to lengths just to bring down someone and hit rock bottom. Theo was no different and became a victim of this curse.

Around the same time...

Cleo is a young girl who is already orphaned. She and her twin sister, Clay were both adopted by their Aunt Jessi after their parents died in a plane crash.
Despite this tragedy, Cleo remains bright and sweet. She is a loud type of person and she does her best to be outgoing for the sake of her social life. Cleo may not be the smartest and thinks that the moon is a floating marble just because she missed that one science class. But she is the life of the party. Everywhere she goes is always bright and happy.
But Cleo also has the shadow of unfortunate events.

Theo and Cleo lived in the same town when they were young. Theo is known everywhere and even Cleo has heard of him before.

One evening, it was the town festival. And while everyone is busy celebrating, Theo is called by his so-called best friends to the dark part of the nearby forest. One of them confronted him just because the girl he likes, liked Theo more because of his personality.

Theo's friends hated him for it because he felt like he was taking everything away. After all, he had it all. Theo tried to reason with him but it led to a fight between him and his friends.

At the same time, Cleo was chasing a puppy that ran to the forest. She was supposed to look for her sister among the busy crowd of the festival but forgot about it because of the puppy.

Cleo got lost in the forest after chasing the puppy. And she happened to stumble her way and found the fight where Theo was outnumbered.

She was far from them but she saw everything that happened. Including what came after it.

Cleo yelled to make them stop ganging up their friend. But before she could reach them, the guy who hated Theo stepped on a loose rock. The ground is very steep so a wrong footing can cause an accident.

When the guy slipped, he rolled down the lower hill of the forest and hit his head on a boulder.
Everyone panicked that evening. While Theo and his friends were very shocked by the accident. Cleo panicked and ran to call someone for help.

But going alone was a mistake. Because she also got herself in an accident. It was extremely dark and she ran off. Unfortunately, she was too stupid to remember she was already lost, to begin with.
Cleo also fell down the hill. Although it wasn't as tall as Theo's friends fell at. Cleo's accident may not have killed her but took away all her memories.

The next day. Theo's life which was full of color eventually became black and grey.

He was accused of pushing his friend and killing him. His other friends who were there who saw what happened lied as a witness to his crime.

Cleo was his last hope. But he didn't know what happened to her because she was gone the next day. Unbeknownst to him, after Cleo was found in the forest. She was rushed to a hospital. The hospital didn't have enough equipment to handle her injuries so she had to be transferred to two towns away.

Things happen too fast. Theo was too young to be in jail so he was sent to a rehabilitation center to reflect on his crime.

And while he was in the center. Cleo was comatose.

Both were trapped in their prison for 2 years.

After two years. Theo and his family moved out of the town to start a new life.
He enrolled in a new university to continue his studies and forget the past. It became very hard for Theo to continue to interact with other people because he felt like he couldn't trust anybody anymore. He felt betrayed for two years. Even to his family.

All that time he was in the center. He was never visited. His parents say that they're busy because of work and preparing for his new life once he gets out. But they weren't there when he needed them the most.

Theo changed drastically from the old him. Although he also missed it. But he is now more afraid to be the old him otherwise the same thing will happen again.

Meanwhile...

Cleo woke up from her comatose after two years. Being asleep for a long time is one thing, but forgetting everything from childhood was the hardest.

She spent months trying to cope with it.
Her aunt figured to enroll her in a new school to try and start fresh. To make new friends and new memories.

Although it wasn't hard for Cleo. One thing she didn't lose is her personality which became her main tool to remain as a person. Even though she doesn't feel full and that there is an unknown feeling that bothers her. And it makes her feel like she needs to remember it. Cleo tries to be okay for her parents who have been there since day one.
