Jeon jungkook a 21 year old living alone in a small apartment near the university campus. He is a senior year student that to be a brilliant one. Due to his exceptional talent in studies and sports he got scholarship from the university and some people are jealous of him because of that.

It's not like he doesn't have a family. His family lives in the same city , even his younger brother joined college this year only.

But he is not dependent on his family in any way. His family consists of his stepfather  Lee Chang , step mother Lee Eun Hee ,his half brother jeon jae young and step sister Lee Minsoo .

JK's real mother died when jk was few months old and after his wife's death Mr jeon alone couldn't manage jk and his  work. So he married JK's step mother EunHee.

At first everything went ok. After 2year Jaeyoung born. From that moment EunHee Neglected completely not that jk complained . He also loved his brother .

But when  jk was 5yrs old and jae  was 3 his father passed away in an accident.
It didn't take much for their lives to change drastically.
EunHee started abusing jk . Blaming him for every misery of her life. It's not like they were poor. Mr jeon had left them more than enough to survive whole life without working that to be a luxurious one. But for EunHee that was not enough.
It didn't take much longer for her to marry another man named Lee Chang who was nothing but a freeloader.

From then atrocities on jk increased.
As jk can't go outside and do the works he has to do every household work.
It's because then can't stop jk's education otherwise they could have done that.
While the treatment jae received was 180° opposite of Jungkook.
As the child learns from his parents he also started looking down on Jungkook even though the later loved him the most.

Within all this EunHee got pregnant with Minsoo...
But this time jk didn't saw any affection towards her...
It's not like he hate her  and not because she is not the same blood as him but because he doesn't want to suffer the same that he felt when his brother started mistreating him.

It was when jk turned 14 , jae 12 and Minsoo 9 he decided to take things in to his hands.
Because the things they were doing with him were reached their limit...
EunHee forced jk to work part time.
They had stopped giving him good food and clothes from long ago but now they stopped him going to middle school as he doesn't need it . The only basic education is enough for him.
Jk has to cook food for all of them but he can't eat with them . They only gave him leftovers.
Jk himself don't remember the last time he had a good meal. May be the last thing he ate good was the piece of cake which the cake shop owner gave him on his birthday where he works.
The money which he makes, EunHee takes them all.
There is no particular room for him ... His room was given to jae and Minsoo took jae's room . All was left for jk is the store room. He doesn't have a proper bed for him. He has thin duvet which doesn't saves him from cold nights but no is their to complain.
They would rather throw old clothes and duvets rather than giving it to jk. Who has only two pare of good clothes according to him which he wears to work... Other wise the clothes he wears at home can be compared to the rags.

Jk got weaker and thiner day by day ... But there were no one to check on him...
Jk's grandparents were no more in the world only her aunt who is not present in Korea right now. She has been living in states for years now and had no contact with anyone.

And does jk has any hope that she will come and help her... No ... He stopped expecting things from others  a  long time ago. Life is not a fantasy that all things will turn good at the end... And he had accepted it as a fact....

But things have now changed ... He can't take this anymore... things are now out of hand
Why .... Because two things happened....

At first when it was jae's birthday party all his friends came so as Minsoo's also.
When they asked about who jk is to them .. jae introduced him as  a orphan and  is working as a servant in their house . And started laughing...

One of jae's friend asked so what's in their to laugh about...

Jae answered that jk is a pathetic who can't do a single work properly ... It's only they had a pity on him they have kept him in their home...
Completely shattering jk's feelings.....

Some times rather than yours action your words hurt people more deeply...
Same thing happened here ...
It may be the last hope which jk was holding within him came out as a small tear drop and nothing else ...

And the second thing....

It was Lee Chang... At first when jk was going to school he had less time to be at home but after they stopped his education he started spending some more time at home doing house work then his part times.

But Whenever EunHee is not present, Lee Chang would Started touching him  in inappropriate way...
It all started with accidental touches.. but when jk understood they are intentional ... He started feeling disgusted.
How can someone do something like this that to be someone who is like his son..

He started keeping his distance from Lee Chang but to his misery whenever the other gets a chance he tries to get closer to jk.
Sometime showing him pity sometimes by force....

It's not like EunHee didn't noticed it but she blamed jk for seducing his husband and started abusing her physically....
Yes... Although they abused jk but never physically as it could leave marks on him and they can't risk it but now as he stopped going to school they have started abusing him physically even Minsoo  laughs whenever jk got bitten up...

But today during the birthday Lee Chang crossed all his limits ...

When everyone was busy in party and jk was working in the kitchen

he came and back hugged jk tightly making him flinch in the process.
When jk noticed what is happening he started to free himself from other's grip...
In this process he kicked Lee Chang's leg which made him  release jk from his hold..

He groans in pain and then comes near to jk and clutches his hair in his fist pulling it with force...
Jk whices with pain but the sounds got silenced with the loud music .....

Lee Chang:- what do you think you are doing .... You dare to hurt me...

Jk:- leave me you... Shit... Just leave me... Stop doing this to me... Stop touching me ... It disgusts me .... Leave him this instance... Or I will shout for help.....

Lee Chang:- ha ha ha ha ha.... Do you think you can do anything about that.... Do you think anyone would believe you if I did something to you ..
do you think my beloved wife I mean your so called step mother will believe in your words then me....
Even though she saw it last time she beat you saying you seduced me....
But she was not wrong though... Just look at you... Even though you are thin you can arouse a dead...
With that he started eyeing jk from head to toe...

It made jk more disgust... He could throw up anytime...
Lee Chang starts laughing ...

Jk knows what he said was true ... No one would believe him ... But he can't give up... It's  already too much for him to take.... He can't take any more... He is tired now ...

He is living a life of a slave... Nothing more ..
He also wants to be happy ,
he also wants to celebrate his birthday
he also wants to go to school and complete his studies .
He doesn't want live his life like hell...

With that thought jk picks up the knife  which was on the kitchen table when Lee Chang was not looking at him and slash the knife at Lee Chang.....
