Cigarette butts littered the ground below Yūki as he pulled out yet another to smoke. He had been outside the detention center since early that morning, not wanting to be late and face possible consequences.
Though his face read as cold, inside he was panicking. His time working with Izana was a time he truly wished he could forget, but of course, his wishes never came true.
Right before he lit his new cigarette, he saw a small group of people walk up toward the entrance to the detention center. If it wasn't for Shion and the Haitani's, Yūki would have questioned why Muto and Mochi were there, but he quickly connected the dots.
Shion, the previous Black Dragons leader. Yūki worked under him briefly when he first became the leader and, truthfully, he regrets not leaving under him sooner. It's not that Yūki necessarily hated Shion, it's more the fact that he saw absolutely nothing of value in him. And it seemed like he hadn't changed at all throughout these past years.
The Haitani brothers, both the rulers of Roppongi and a pain in Yūki's ass. Yūki had always hated how they thought they were so powerful, when in reality they were both weak apart; maybe that's why they always stuck to each other no matter what. Nonetheless, they both seemed to love teasing Yūki any chance they got.
Mochi, leader of Jugem, one of the few who refused Yūki's help. Though, neither of them interacted with each other much, if at all, they both highly respected each other. They both admired the other's strength, having fought once before with it ending in a tie. Yūki just hoped the large teen wouldn't want to fight right away.
And Muto, now if you would have told Yūki that a member of Toman was in the S-62 generation a week ago, Yūki would have laughed. He had to applaud Muto's acting skills, with him always acting indebted to Mikey, Yūki had no reason to suspect him of anything.
"So you're the Vicious Generation, huh?" Yūki stood up and slowly walked over to them. "Honestly, I thought there'd be more of you."
"What's that supposed to mean Yūki??" Shion asked as he glared down at Yūki.
Although Yūki smiled, everyone could see the rage in his eyes. "It's Viper, asshole. I guess you're still as stupid as you are weak, huh."
As said before, Yūki wouldn't say that he hated Shion, the truth is that the two of them just knew exactly what buttons to press to get under the other's skin, able to do so using just a simple look. That was another reason why Yūki left the Black Dragons under Shion's rule, with him around the gang would have split faster than it did.
"Hey." Muto called out, stopping Shion and Yūki from fighting. "Izana's gonna be getting out within the hour, save your fight till after."
"Tch" Both of them glared at each other as they both got comfortable.
"Why are you here, Viper? Shouldn't you be dealing with Bloody Halloween still?" Rindou asked as he sat down on the curb next to Yūki.
Yūki shrugged as he finally lit his cigarette. "Gonna meet up with both leaders after the funeral and court hearing, which should be ending here soon." He passed his pack of cigarettes to Rindou who graciously took one. "Plus, I doubt any of you guys have the balls to tell Izana that Shinichiro died."
Everyone became deathly silent at the mention of Shinichiro. Right before Izana got arrested, he had a massive fight with Shinichiro, one that caused his already cruel personality to become fifty times worse. One could only imagine how he'd be after finding out that he was dead since he most likely wasn't told in prison.
"You're actually gonna tell him?" Mochi asked, impressed by both his bravery and stupidity.
Once again Yūki shrugged. "It's better for him to put his anger out on me than random people, right?" He took another long drag from his cigarette, trying to calm his nerves.
