Having finally made it to the restaurant, Yūki quickly sat down next to Kisaki. In front of him was a bowl of spicy udon, which was ordered for him beforehand. Everyone stayed quiet as they watched Yūki quickly eat the bowl and ask for another.
"So how did the talk go?" Yūki asked with a mouth full of food. "It looked like it went well."
Kisaki just silently glared as he was still trying to figure out the relationship between Draken and Yūki. He never heard his partner mention a connection before and if he did he would've remembered it.
"How about you tell us why Draken was chasing you?" Kisaki turned towards Yūki as he waited for an answer, but all he saw was Yūki frozen in place with a scowl on his face.
"You'll probably hear 'bout it when you join Toman." Was all Yūki said as he slowly placed his chopsticks down. He turned slightly to glare up at Kisaki "And answer my question before you ask stupid shit."
Choji and Hamada stayed silent as their leaders argued back and forth. It wasn't rare for the two of them to argue, but this time it seemed different. Most of the time, Yūki would have already laughed or poked fun at Kisaki, but today he seemed serious. Neither of them wanted to be caught in the crossfire of whatever was going on.
After a while the two settled down, Yūki having made it onto his third bowl of spicy Udon while the others had finally finished their first. The tension between all of them was so thick that most of the staff tried to stay away from the small group.
"Set up a meeting with me and this Hanma guy. I'd rather it be this week." Finishing up his bowl, Yūki looked at the group. Everyone there knew that he wasn't asking, he was demanding. "And Kisaki, I want you there too."
Kisaki quickly turned toward Yūki, about to object, but one glance from the older teen and he quickly held his tongue. "If you don't want to, that's fine, but I won't tell you what we do in the meeting. Plus you're the one who wants to be the top delinquent, and if you won't do something as simple as this, then I guess you aren't cut out for it."
Once again the table grew silent. All of them could tell that Yūki was pissed, but who made him this mad? No one knew, not even Yūki himself. He had guessed it was because of his meeting with Draken, or maybe because Kisaki was trying to go against him, but he wasn't sure.
No one moved to stop Yūki as he slowly got up and left the restaurant. He wasn't sure where he was going, he just knew that he needed out. And before he knew it, he was outside an abandoned arcade that had been covered in graffiti.
He walked inside expecting to see at least a drug addict or a homeless guy squatting there, only to find no one. Old and broken arcade machines were scattered everywhere, some knocked down while others had been smashed open. Despite the damage, dust covered every inch of the small building which indicated that no one had been there for a long while.
Reaching in his pockets, he furiously felt around for a cigarette only to turn up empty-handed. "Dammit!" He collapsed onto a fallen arcade machine, too distracted by his thoughts to hear someone enter the building.
"You okay there, Shorty?" A playful voice called out towards Yūki, who chose to ignore the stranger.
They got closer before pulling out a cigarette and handing it to Yūki. He took the cigarette and placed it into his mouth before he looked up to see who decided to bother him.
