Chapter 18

*3 years later*

*Katie's P.O.V.*

It's been three years now I just finished college and I'm moving back to California! I can't wait to get back I am finally going to open my restaurant Katie's Kreation's!

A lot has happened in the last three years.... Kylie got married to Taylor Lautner, Kyle's engaged to Megan Fox, James, Beau, Luke, Jai, and Daniel are traveling the world on tour ever since there youtube channel went threw the roof.

Jackie and Mat are still together Mat is waiting to pop the question to Jackie.... Joey and Josh are in the minors for the Detroit tigers baseball team. As for Michael his band got huge and they travel a lot, but what I hear is Michael has been a mess and they might kick him out of the band.

It's finally the night everyone, I love can come to my restaurant and see what I am made of! They get to see what I have accomplished with there extraordinary support.

Jackie comes running inside the kitchen "It's time are you ready?" I look at her nervously nodding my head, we walk out together and I open the doors to the restaurant and see many people waiting to get seated.

"Hello everyone, I guess you guys are waiting for the opening?" I laugh and they all laugh with me "well I guess you guys can come in!" I smile walking in with people following behind me!

My cooks get to work and I see people getting seated smiling, laughing, and enjoying there friends, and loved ones company. By the end of the night I was just finishing closing off when there was a light on in the back of the kitchen.

I walk in the kitchen to see a table with a candle on top and a plate of food, flowers scattered around the table, and music playing. I hear someone clear there throat and see Michael standing there.

I stare at him in shock "what are you doing here?" I say harshly "I'm here to apologize to you for what I did to you." He mumbles looking down at his hands.

"Well I don't wan-" I was cut off by his lips on mine I stand there frozen, before I try shoving him off me it was no use so I stand there like a statue.

"Katie please give me a chance I'm so sorry!" He pleads and I finally get a good look at him. His hair was back to his normal blonde color it was all messy, his eyes were red and puffy, he looked physically weak, but the worst part about it all he wreaked of cigarettes and alcohol.

"Michael you're drunk." I state not happy with him "I'm taking you home." I blow out the candle putting the food in the fridge. He shakes his head "not without telling you what I need to say."

"Fine you can tell me on the car ride to your house." I move to the back door opening it for him to exit, he slowly walks out after "but my home is where you are..." He mumbles and my heart breaks a little at those words he spoke.

I try not getting affected by his words and I make sure he's in the car safely before I get in and start driving off. "Where am I taking you exactly?"

"I've been staying at your parents house they offered ever since I got back." I start getting frustrated stepping on the gas pedal. "I'm not drunk so if you are planning on killing us in the car please be my guest and speed up." He states in his smart ass tone.

I send him a quick glare slowing down "you want to talk than talk!" I say between gritted teeth.

"Katie when I left I didn't want to... I didn't know how to tell you I was leaving all the boys tried to get me to tell you, but I never had the courage to tell you that I had to leave early, shit I did't know even if I could tell you even if I was leaving later... Than knowing you're heart broken when I left, I couldn't... I know not telling you made it a zillion times harder for you, but babe it was sooooooooo hard for me and than when I came back I was coming back for you! All I wanted was you back you are my rock baby and all I need in this world is you. I'll admit after leaving you and you ignoring me I became and alcoholic and I started smoking, but when I found out you were coming back home I quite I wanted to start clean it was hard, but you were my motivation. I love you! I always will Katie my princess I will never stop loving you!"
