THE BITTEN PASSION

chapter 16

I must have looked like I've seen a ghost, which I have seen when I was younger, because Harry and Niall rushed over. "What happened?" They yelled. "The person on the other line sais 'you should've watched out.' What does that mean? Plus the voice sounded awfully familiar too." I said panicking. My phone went off again, this time the caller ID said 'Hospital in France.' Don't ask why I have their number.  I was confused why they called, like I'm pretty sure the rash is gone... I mean... what rash?! I decided to answer them anyways.

"Bonjour, is this Daniella Smith?" a lady wit a very heavy French accent said.

 "Yes this is she."

"Well... I'm sorry for the very bad news, but your sister Brook? She has been in a very awful car accident with her husband. He manages to be in wonderful conditions, but unfortunately not your sister. Doctors say she has a 50-20 percent chance of living." The women said, disappointment dripping out at every single word.

I was on the verge of tears. "Is there any chance you can explain to me what happened?" I asked.

"Well all we know is that they were driving back from a restaurant and the car lost control, flipped, crashed into a street light, and not even a minute later the car caught on fire. Before the car flipped, the driver was able to jump out, but your sister didn't. It looked like the seatbelt wouldn't budge."

That just made a big puddle of tears flow down. My sister, Brook, the only closest person I had left in my life (besides my friends and grandparents), taken away from me. And the only one to blame this on was Luke.

"Do you know exactly why the belt wouldn't budge?" I ask her, tears still flowing down.

"Well we don't know, the driver wont tells us anything any more." That made me thick.

"Where in France is this hospital?"

"In Calais, France. Sixty-four Rue Verte, Calais." She replied.

"Thank you." I said and hung up, then I turned to everyone else and said, "Get packed were going to France."
