THE BITTEN PASSION

chapter 2

      Once we landed, we grabbed our bags and found our limo driver. Just because we came from a different place doesn’t mean we can't be rich here, right? Oh well. “Hello Brook, Hello Daniella.” Our driver, Paul, said. “Hello Paul.” Brook said. “Hi Pauly!” I greeted him. He laughed, putting our bags in the trunk of the car.

      “Are we going to meet our friends?” I said, jumping up and down numerously.  “After we settle in sister.” Brook said calm and non-caring. “I’m so excited for adventure and stuff. I want to explore London. See action, learn stuff, and experience lo-.” Brook cut me off saying, “Love! Love! You're to young! You have to finish your studies, get a job, and learn to live a life. Before you experience love!” she was mad by this point. I put my head down, finding my "TOMS" interesting.

       We arrived at out lovely, big house. We unpacked everything, arranged them in their places and watched TV. Soon, Brook's phone rang. “Hello, yes….” She got up and walked to her room. I went into the kitchen and made a big bowl of popcorn, later sitting down and watched "SPONGEBOB". Don’t judge!

         Brook finally came down stair, dressed up. “Where are you going?” I asked, stuffing mouth full of popcorn. “To see my boyfriend, who else?” She said getting her keys. “BOYFRIEND!” I yelled. “ Well yeah,” she sat next to me. “How long? Is he a vampire or mortal? How old? How does he look? Why can you be in love and I cant?” Questions were being thrown at her. “Calm down little sister.” She said calming me down. “Its been 5 years since we've been together. He's a vampire, 19 years old, brown hair, blue eyes, pale skin, and tall, I can be in love because in older and I’m going to rule Vampcatria someday, so I need a partner.” Brook finished answering my questions. “Well that sucks!” I said, crossing my arms, lying back on the couch. “Don’t worry. I'll be back by 10pm. Stay out of trouble.” She yelled and left.

        I decided to take a walk around London, because it got boring in the flat. I found a small shop near a park and entered. “Hello. What can I get you?” a lady looking around her mid-thirties, asked.  “Um… I’ll get an espresso with whip cream on top, and a chocolate chip cookie.” I ordered and went to find a seat. I found one near the shops window. Sitting down, I realize someone was stalking me. But as usual, I ignored it.

        The women brought me my order and I thanked her. Halfway through my cookie, my phone started ringing. I saw that I receded lots of text messages from Nhi, Anny, Danielle, Eleanor, and Brook. I opened Nhi's message first.

      *Girl, heard u r in London! Lets meet up. *

Then Anny's:  *OMFG!  We have to meet up! How about TMRW! *

Danielle's:  * how can u not tell me? See you TMRW! *

Eleanor's: * me, u, the girls, hang out, understood. GD! *

Last Brook's: * stay out of trouble little sister! I know you! *

I texted them back in a group text saying,

* Ok, hang out TMRW. My place. Don't worry brook I wont! *   I sent it and enjoyed my espresso and cookie.

        I think I had a paranormal moment, because I kept looking back around me. I finished my food, paid, and exited. I took a walk around the park for a bit. As I walking I put on my sunglasses and hoodie. It wasn’t summer yet. As I was walking I kept looking back, and saw no one. “I swear someone's following me.” I mumbled to myself. With my head down, I bumped into someone. “Sorry I wasn’t looking.” I looked up and saw someone awfully familiar. “Do I now you?” we said at the same time. I removed my sunglasses and hoodie, so did he, Red long hair, green eyes, tall, and pale skin. “OH MY GOD!” we said “ IT'S YOU! OF COURSE IT'S ME! I MISSED YOU!” We said together, we laughed a bit and hugged each other. “Gerard Way its been so long.” I said. “It has Daniella Smith.”

           We walked and talked around the park. “So how's your sister, Brook?” he asked. “Good, she’s out with her vampire boyfriend of 5 years. How’s Anny?” I asked. “Anny’s good she misses you though.” “Yeah I know. I got her text.” I said. Anny’s his youngest sister, Jet-black hair, brown eyes, pale skin, and me. Letting you know pale skin is common for vampires. All my friends are vampires!

             We talked for a few more hours, and then we had to go our separate ways. “See you tomorrow!” we yelled at each other. I got home at 7 o'clock, got in the shower, changed, turned on the TV, and watched THE X-FACTOR UK. I fell asleep half way through jugging the finale contestants.
