Later in the Saloon.

Michael pulls up with his Horse in front of the Saloon.

He jumps down from his Horse and slowly enters the Saloon.

He looks around cautiously trying to find where the man is located.

Finally he sees him... sat over at the bar, he walks over to join him and pulls up a seat.

Man: Ahh, so nice for you to care to join me young man.

Michael: Make this quick.

Man: What's the rush? Waiter... He shouts to the man behind the bar. Give me two of your finest scotch whiskeys.

Michael: No, I'm ok...

Man: No I insist, it's on me.

The waiter makes up two scotch whiskeys with ice, and slides the drinks down the bar to them both.

Man: So what is a man like you doing hanging around with a young vulnrable girl like Winifred Foster? He asked as he lights up his cigar.

Michael: I'm not here to answer your questions, I'm here to pay you and leave.

Man: Oh comon' my boy... I get it... young, beautiful... rich perhaps? Who wouldn't want to be with someone so remarkable. He remarks as he takes a smoke of his cigar.

Michael: It's none of your business. Winnie's just a friend, her Fathers money doesn't interest me.

Man: $500 dollars extra... just for my time.

Michael: What!? Are you crazy... your the one keeping me, you have a nerve. Michael's knuckles really started to crack, he felt like he wanted to take this outside. But knew he had to keep his calm.

Man: Well if she also wasn't so stubborn and just complied with me, it wouldn't have to be like this would it now... I bet you don't like her as much as you thought you do now, do you?
He sniggered.

Michael grabbed the scuff of his the mans coat and started breathing heavily.

Michael: Don't you ever talk about her like that.

Man: Now, now, my boy... let's keep this civil, we don't want to cause a scene now do we...
He smirked in Michael's face.

Michael: Screw you... He let go of his coat in anger as the man felt back into his chair.

Man: Well it's your call my boy, if you don't want the Fosters to know it is you she is with, you better give me that $1,500 dollars!

Michael: You know your something else... I swear to god if you breath a word of where she's been I'll come find you. Michael slams down the money onto the bar.

Man: They'll be no need my boy, I've got what I wanted, you won't be seeing me again.

Michael: Let's hope that be true! Because if you ever breathe a word of this, I'll make sure everyone knows exactly the con man you really are. Michael laughs in the mans face, as he shots down the Whiskey.

Michael jumps down from the bar and walks off whilst wiping the Whiskey residue from his mouth on the back of his hand. He walks out the door slamming it hard as he leaves, he jumps up on his Horse and rides back Home.

When Michael reaches back Home, he tries to quietly jump down from his Horse and hushes it.

Michael: Woaah boy...

Michael quietly walks inside finding the door unlocked, he's confused...
The candles were all lit.

He walks over to the dining table where a jug of water still remains and a glass, he takes the glass and pours some water in and takes a huge gulp.
Winnie is stood in the doorway in a long white nightgown that Linda had given to her, in the candlelight.

Michael turned around to see Winnie stood there looking beautiful as ever, her hair was down so long and wavy and loose... nothing holding any inch of her hair from her face, with bare feet. Michael did a double take... he couldn't believe what he was seeing right in front of him. He was utterly in awe of her.

Winnie: I've been waiting up for you... Linda gave me a room to stay and a nightgown, she's made me feel very comfortable tonight. I think she's lovely. She smiled.

Michael: Good, that's good. He was in a trance.

Winnie: Are you ok? Is everything ok Michael?

Michael: Of course... why? He smiled back.

Winnie: You seem distracted.

Michael: Sorry, you... I... erm... It's all sorted Winnie. It's all sorted. I promise... He won't be bothering us again.

Winnie: Are you sure?

Michael: Yes, I'm sure. He smiled.

Winnie: Ok... good. She smiled back.

Michael smiled at her then looked her up and down slowly.
Winnie could see that his eyes were completely tracing her.

Michael slowly started walking towards her, until he stopped right in front of her. He was so close to her face now, he couldn't resist her presence, but Winnie felt what he was trying to do, maybe get a kiss... or a hug or... more... she didn't know, but she could smell he had been drinking. So she didn't feel that whatever he was doing was going to be genuine.

Michael: How long have you been waiting for me? He smirked.

Winnie: A while... She was nervous at Michaels movements.

Winnie: I... I... better head to sleep... She stuttered as Michael's eyes were luring down into hers almost approaching her lips, he ran the tips of his fingers through her hair at the side of her face, Winnie diverted Michael from anything happening and pulled away.

Michael: Yes... of course, no problem. Goodnight Winnie. He smiled.

Winnie: Goodnight Michael. She gently smiled back looking up at him in the eyes, as she moved away and walked into her room.
