As we made it to the dinner table my mom made a good ass meal, she made Macaroni N Cheese, Fried Chicken, greens and Corn bread. She really went all out for night, l sit down in the middle of table as my mom sits on the left on me and Chris sits nexts to mom. As l sit l get my plate from the table and start putting food on it as my mom and Chris did the same
"Mmm this looks good mom" l said
"Yea babe you showed out on this" Chris said
"Thank you guys but l cooked this meal mostly for Chris since you like soul food so" she explained
"I mean who doesn't it?" I chuckled as l take a bit of my food
"Yea true but it one of Chris favorite foods" she smiled at Chris as Chris does the same
"Oh ok good taste man" l said to him as l start to eat
"Thank you" he said as he starts to eat the greens
"So how y'all meet?" I asked
"We met at a get together at your moms friend's house" he said
"So was y'all set up by your friends?" I asked
"No we actually bumped into each other literally" she chuckled
"Oh wow" l smiled
"But l'm glad we did because it was love in first sight.. well for me and we been hitting off every since" he explained
"Well it was love in first for me too don't play with me" she said to Chris
Chris laughed
"Wow that's amazing" l said "So Chris what do you do for a living?" I asked
"I am a producer"
"Like in music?" I questioned
"Yes and sometimes l sings on some of there tracks" he explained
"Wow name a few artists you have worked with?" I said
"Well it's a lot uh Tank, Drake, lil Wayne, Ell Mai, Wis Kid, Ciara, Dave East Est..." he said as he started to eat the Mac n cheese
"Fr?? Call Drake right now" l jokily said
"Uh no he is not Jesus" she chuckled "I'm sorry Chris" she said to him
"It's all good and beside he is probably busy" he said
"Well It was worth a try mom" l shrugged as l ate my food
"But uh Anyways so l heard that you are a senior now" Chris said to me
"Yea" l smiled
"How does it feel to be a senior? He asked
"It's feels new l guess but it also feels great and exciting because l am becoming a adult" l explained
"That's great l'm happy for you" he smiled
"Thank you"
"Oh l some cinnamon rolls in the fridge if y'all want some" she asked us
"Sure because l'm almost with my plate" l said
"Same here"
"Ok be right back" she gets up from the table and goes into the kitchen
I continue to eat my food till l felt someone looking at me so l looked up to see Chris looking at me with a lil smirk as he ate his food, for some reason l didn't feel creeped instead l blushed a lil
"Why are you blushing?" Chris asked me
My heart kinda stopped because l didn't think he saw me blush
