Today was Saturday and the football team would be flying into Oregon for the game. Tassoni was shocked when Lauren told her that she would be flying in as well. She figured that she would only work the on campus games.
For some reason she couldn't stop thinking about Shilo. She texted him and he had yet to reply. She was hoping she could see him after the game so she could tell him what's been going on. Her brother's voice snapped her from her thoughts.
"You got all yo shit lil folks?" She heard Von ask her when she closed the trunk to his car. It was the next day of them arriving here and they had it set that they were't leaving until they found Kaino. He was smart though, good at hiding.
"Yeah, I got everything."
Von and Durk both stepped from the car to help her carry her bags over to the plane. She would be flying with Lauren who flew in separately from the football boys. Stopping in front of the plane they both gave her a hug.
"We'll be hea when you get back just call one of us." Durk told her passing her the purse in his hands that belonged to her.
"I love y'all." Tassoni said genuinely. She knew both of them were disappointed in her and that was worse than them being mad at her. It truly made her feel like shit but she knew she had nobody to blame but herself.
"We love you too. Always you know that." Von said.
"Yeah so stop with that sappy ass shit and get on the plane." Durk added on wiping the tears from her eyes and giving her a kiss on her forehead.
With that she turned around and made her way up the plane preparing for the flight.
"Hi Lauren" Tassoni said once she made it into the plane.
"Hey. I'm so glad you are feeling better! Just a little brief on this game. Since it's not a home game we don't have to setup anything everything will already be setup for us. The flight to go back home leaves tomorrow at 12 noon. After the game you are free to do whatever you want. You also have your own hotel room. I printed out a schedule of things we need to do once we touchdown." Lauren informed her while going into her bag to pull out the schedule.
"Sounds great." She replied reaching over and grabbing the schedule from Lauren's hand. Taking a glance over it and setting reminders in her phone that corresponded with the schedule.
The pilot announced that they were going to be taking off so Tassoni buckled her seatbelt, popped a piece of gum in her mouth and slid on her beats studio pros. It was a three hour flight and as much as Tassoni tried to go to sleep she couldn't.
She hadn't been to sleep since the events occurred honestly. It was like she had sleep insomnia or something and she just couldn't go to sleep. When she did go to sleep it was for an hour or two max. Her life was in shambles.
