MEME🫠
AUGUSTUS POV
"About damn time, your highness," Seirios grumbled. I signaled the guards to open his cell and Seirios was quick to walk himself out, threading towards his beloved cell.
"M-my love.." The frail human called from the inside looking pale and exhausted. She was covered by the thick blanket but it was obvious she was shivering from the cold temperature.
"Move, damn it!" Seirios growled at the two guards standing idly outside his mate's cell. The guard then glanced at me which I nodded in response. As soon as the door opens Seirios rushed inside, hugging the tiny human to his chest proceeding to carry her outside. "We'll talk about this later" he said as he threw me a hard glare.
The guards then looked at me and I just stared at them, understanding my silence they went back to their position.
I watched the woman, tilting my head in skepticism, she could be acting weak and fragile to win sympathy and skip death for all we know. "Follow him and make sure to set your eyes on that tiny human" I commanded my beta.
"Yes, alpha" He nodded at me, bowing before he followed Seirios.
I will deal with her next. For now I have to let them be until Seirios is calm. I turned then, "Where is that griffon shifter?"
A guard bowed his head and answered, "The griffon shifter is on the last cell alpha"
"Is it awake?"
"Yes, alpha."
I glance on the dark alleyway of the underground cell. The torches were the only source of light around and the place was too cold for the normal shiters and there was a foul stench of smell hanging around the whole area and it was humid. Yet, the place was looked after by the sign of sturdy cells.
"There's nothing here to guard. You can go back to your previous position" I said and the two bowed down before scampering.
A rattle of metal stole my attention finding the griffon shifter in his scruffy position, heavily restrained with infused shackles. His left wing was damaged as it sagged loosely underneath its thick wings. He was clearly injured yet he still looked like he had all the strength in him to fight off everyone in his sight. I admire his grit but that won't work here on my territory.
