An idea for an AU involving Sonic Underground and the SEGA games.
So I know that Sonic Underground was canceled. My AU would take place after the very last episode. I'm thinking that months after the last episode of Sonic Underground, Sonia and Manic were captured and successfully roboticized. Robotnik sets a trap for Sonic and manages to effectively capture him. He then unleashes Sonia and Manic with the task of "terminating" Sonic. Sonic is so in shock of seeing what his siblings have become that Sonia manages to catch him off-guard. Sonia manages to slash Sonic's throat. Realizing that his situation was perilous, he does a desperate attempt to escape (and succeeds). Sonic manages to get away, grief and guilt weight heavily upon him. He runs without course until his last bit of energy leaves him. He stumbles upon a little shack and he loses consciousness. Hours later he wakes up to see an old lady who tells him that she managed to heal what she could of his throat but that he won't be able to talk anymore sadly. He thanks her and promptly leaves in order to stop the man who took everything away from him. In my AU, Sonic would be de-aged (I don't know how many years since I haven't done any calculations). The start of his journey to hunt down Robotnik would be at the very first game of the SEGA series.

Haha. Imagine. A lead singer without his voice. Hmmm. Now that I think about it! I remember reading somewhere that Sonic was the guitarrist (or was it lead singer???) of a band in which Vector had joined (and thereby met Sonic).
