•BECCA•
Two weeks ago
"Becca, we just finished filling out your release papers and so you're good to go." Danny said as he entered my room. These past few days stuck in this hospital have been horrid, and I don't just mean the food. The nurses were either rude or seemed terrified of me, and my partners were only allowed to see me during visiting hours. I've examined every detail about this room at least ten times, and the daily news is no help on any form of information.
I've learned the reason I was put here in the first place. As it turns out, Dr. Harrison Wells' particle accelerator didn't turn out as planned, seeing as how the entire thing blew in the middle of a thunderstorm. I was struck by lightning resulting from the very same storm, and it's a miracle I am still alive.
I smiled as I finished tying my dirty black converse onto my feet. I had been changing while Samantha and Daniel had been taking my papers to there receptionists desk, and now that I'm out of that ugly hospital gown I can finally be released from this prison-like building.
I stand from my crouched position, grab my bags from the corner of the room, and followed my partners out of the hospital altogether. We had all agreed on a meal before getting a hotel room nearby and going back to headquarters, after all we had well overstayed any welcome we may have had here.
We walked into the dark of night, seeing as how it was approximately 10:35 at night. I took a deep breath right as we stepped through the doors, reveling in the feeling of crisp, outdoor air rushing into my lungs. I could practically feel the free feeling of atmospheric oxygen spreading to each cell in my being, almost like the buzz of alcohol after a long days work. I felt free again, almost as if any and all responsibilities I had were vanquished.
I suppose that made me slightly responsible for the event that happened next. I hadn't paid attention. It all happened so fast.
There was a streak of red light circling the three of us. Wind whipped at our faces, and the band of light didn't cease. At points I thought I saw a silhouette among the light, but that was impossible. Or at least, I thought it was.
The man stopped, but it appeared that his whole body was vibrating. He was wearing a suit of yellow and black, and his voice was not that of a normal person when he spoke.
"Rebecca Glass, I know about your-" he paused to chuckle in his deformed voice, "escape from death."
By now the three of us were standing together in a defensive stance, Samantha and Daniel slightly ahead of myself. Any plans for this evening had been forgotten, all focus was now on this impossible man. In a moment of courage, I decided to speak.
"What do you want from us? Money? Information?" I asked, being sure to keep my voice steady and attention fully on this man. He appeared to shake his head at my inquisitions, and took a step forward.
"I want you gone. You can do things no regular human is capable of, and you, Agent Becca, are a major threat to any plans I have of getting home."
"Where is your home then? I can surely arrange transportation for you to return there." I respond quickly, all of my instincts kicking in. This man made no sense. "What can I do that normal people cannot?"
It was done in a moment. A speeding flash of light, two very familiar, gut-wrenching screams, and my partners were lying, bleeding on the parking lot'a asphalt. The yellow man disappeared, leaving only me, kneeling by my friends bodies, screaming their names and drenching my cheeks with tears.

It's been two weeks since that night. After my best friends were wheeled into a hospital only to be pronounced dead moments later, I swore I'd avenge their deaths by finding their murderer and taking care of him by myself.
