The Visit

As dawn approaches, Seonghwa finds himself lying on the bed, unable to sleep, staring at the ceiling. Yunho stirs beside him on the bed. Earlier, Seonghwa had asked Yunho to stay in his room. He knew if he was alone, he won't be able to sleep, but the situation wasn't any better now.

"No matter how much I try, I won't be able to sleep if you are so restless," Seonghwa suddenly hears a voice beside him.

"I thought you were asleep," says Seonghwa, turning towards the other.

"I've been trying, but you are so wide awake beside me. What's wrong, Seonghwa? I thought you had a good time with Hongjoong today, but I don't see the usual happiness," Yunho asks, concerned.

"I have decided not to see him again," Seonghwa says, a shaky breath leaving his mouth.To say that Yunho is left shocked would be an understatement.

"What's wrong with you? Why are you doing this after becoming friends with him?" Yunho borderline screams.

"What's the point, Yunho? I won't be able to lie anymore. How am I going to tell him? I know I should've thought this through before, but I just wanted to keep those thoughts aside for a while," says Seonghwa, a tear escaping his eyes.

Suddenly Mingi's words hit Yunho like a truck. He can't help but feel responsible for what's happening. He should've stopped Seonghwa earlier.

"Seonghwa, how can you-"

"I told him," Yunho is about to lash out but gets cut off by Seonghwa's voice.

"What?" says Yunho, trying to stable his breath. He was now angry.

"I told him I like him," Seonghwa says, another tear following the previous one. Yunho is left speechless again.

"What did he say?" Yunho barely whispers.

"He didn't understand," says Seonghwa.

"What do you mean by that? Is he an idio-"

"He thinks I am an idiot," Hongjoong screams with his head buried in his lap.

"And you confirmed it by saying you don't understand," Mingi says, sitting on the other side of the bed while Hongjoong has a mental breakdown.

"Of course, I understood. It's not like I haven't ever watched anime, but Seonghwa didn't want me to understand, so I played along," Hongjoong rolls his eyes.

"Why are you screaming? I thought you liked him too. We planned the meeting for you two," Mingi screams back at Hongjoong.

"Oh please, don't give me that bullshit. Are you sure it's not because you wanted to meet Yunho too?" Hongjoong teasingly winks, but the smirk turns into confusion when Mingi turns, avoiding eye contact.
