SUNOO'S POV

"O-OH MY GOD! SCHOOL!" I didn't bother seeing Sunghoon's state after kicking him off the bed and just straight up started aiming for the bathroom.

Panting, I leaned into the sink as I watched my face turn into a tinted shade of red through a mirror. I clutched my chest before readying myself to take a bath.

Oh my god! I must be insane! I often sleep straight and sideways but why am I hugging people now?!

After taking a bath and finally taking enough courage to face him, I decided to go out of the bathroom and enter my room. I blinked twice when I noticed that he climbed back on my bed and was still sleeping in.

"H-Hyung, we have to go to school" I reminded before lightly shaking his shoulder which he responded with a groan.

"Hyung—" my sentence stopped midway when he raised his arms in the air as if he's signalling me to pull him up. Although confused, I gripped his arms and pulled his whole body so he can sit up straight.

"Thanks" he managed to utter groggily, barely waking up.

"You should get ready for school"

"I won't go to school today, I have a full day practice until Sunday noon" he answered, zoning out from time to time making me snort. He looks so innocent in the morning.

"Um, then I guess you should join me for breakfast? My mom probably left for work already and just left us food" I invited, now wearing a uniform while he was still in his clothes from last night.

He made a stop to the bathroom while I headed downstairs to set the breakfast my mom left. It was a simple egg fried rice topped with two sunny side up eggs and a kimchi on the side.

I signed him to take a seat in front of me to which he gladly did and started chowing down our food.

He was much more quiet than usual that it somehow made me feel awkward.

"Can I ask you a favor?" I took my time to gulp down my water before facing him who was now looking at me, asking a question.

"What is it?"

"Can you help me ask your mom? I need a g-guardian for the registration..." He asked with his voice fading at the end of the sentence. He seemed so embarrassed and hesitant with his request so I hurriedly nodded my head so as to not make him worry that much.

"Sure, when?"

"Sunday in the afternoon" he simply replied in a monotonous tone causing me to wonder if he slept well.

D-Did I somehow interrupt his sleep because I was hugging him with all my might? I hope not!

"If you don't mind me asking...why can't your parents sign your slip?" I started, initiating the question I have been wondering since yesterday. Did something come up?

I watched how his body froze from the sudden question with his grip tightening on his glass.

"They're not around" he answered with a smile.

A fake one.

"You should get going or you'll be late, I'll wash the dishes before I go—"

"Oh no! No! Just leave it in the sink, you can start getting ready too don't worry" after telling him that there was no need to do the task, he just gave me a smile and handed me my bag from the couch and waiving me goodbye.

"I know you're probably rich enough to store a gold in your safe, but please don't steal anything hyung, this is all we have and please lock the door " I joked causing him to chuckle and nod his head simultaneously.
