Little sister

You and Daniel were walking home after school talking about upcoming tests and the school festival that was gonna happen in 2 weeks.

" are you gonna do something? I'm thinking of fighting Zack. He's so cocky thinking nobody could hit a boxer. I'd whoop his ass!"  You said punching the air in a funny way making Daniel laugh.

" ah, you wanna stay over? We could go for a bite? I heard there's a new cafe that opened the *** down street!"   " hell yeah, do you even have to ask?" Your mouth starts drooling already as you think of the delicious stuff.

Daniel opens the door but freezes in his spot as you bump into his back. You peek behind his shoulders as you see a woman sitting next to the small Daniel.

"Mom?"  your eyes widened as you realized it's Daniels mom you push him out of the way and immediately run over to miss park.

" my oh my!  Your Daniels mom? You seem so young, geez it's a honor to finally meet ya! I've heard soooooo much about you. Hehe , don't mind my friend. He lives with your son Daniel...to uh save up rent!" 

You try and make the situation seem less suspicious because the big Daniel called miss park mom. You let out a relieved sigh as she buys the situation.

" you guys are my sons friends? Your handsome and your pretty hoho! Daniel sure is lucky to have such a pretty girl be his friend."

You get shy and smile awkwardly , you felt bad for lying to this angelic woman. As Daniel greets her as well she asks both of you if you wanted to talk for a while .

" sure let's head to a famous cafe, I heard it has the most delicious sweets! Would you like to go there ma'am?"  
" yes , that sounds good!"

As the 3 of you were walking you felt the awkward atmosphere , shit what am I s'posed to say.. damn it Daniel you moron say something! You look at Daniel and elbow his sides.

He sighs as he starts asking miss park about her son and she talks happily about him. You both smile at each other. She really loves Daniel, you found it comfortable listening to the two of them talk.

You walked into the cafe and ordered stuff , turning to Daniels mom asking what she'd like when she asks for water since it's the cheapest thing. You felt your heart ache as you just told her to order what she'd like. 

After a while You walked to the table with the orders , when you see a familiar person sitting , VASCO? What's he doing here? Ah right his big eared friend was there as well. That solves it.

" hey vasco, whacha doing here? Milk? Tough boy drink huh?" You smile at him as he just scans the area noticing Daniel is with you as well. As he figured. " did you get home safe?"

" huh?, uh yeah! Daniel slept over at mine. what you worried abt me big guy?" You teased him wiggling your eyebrows as he blushes scoffing.

"I don't trust Daniel, he seems like a troublemaker."

" you're wrong, very wrong. in fact he's the nicest person ever."

You don't know why but you felt your eyebrows scrunch together and you were getting pissed of, how could he judge Daniel like that?  I mean that pretty boy is sitting right there with his MOM. His harmless mom!

You walked away from vasco not even bothering to say goodbye sitting down finally. Your mood lifted up as you saw her enjoy the coffee.

" I wonder if Daniel would like this..?"  She even worried about her kid first, that's a real mom. You smiled lightly.
You guys chatted for what felt like eternity. Miss park stood up and thanked you both asking if you'd take good care of her son and not insult or hit him.
