I looked down at the beverage in front of me as the waiter walked away, quickly pulling my phone out my pocket. Leah glanced over at me, a look of confusion plastered on her face. I opened the camera app and held my phone above the coffee, with a bit of the background in the back. Leah seemed to understand and started giggling.
"Don't laugh it's just pretty" i said, attempting to defend myself, but i ended up joining in.
"Are you going to post it?" She said suddenly, picking up her hot chocolate and taking a sip.
"Maybes on my instagram story... i don't know" i replied, looking at the picture on my phone.
"As long as you don't put the location it should be fine" she started, "But tag me so i can put it onto mine too" she said with a smirk as she pulled out her phone.
"Well i don't have you, do i?" i said, subtly teasing her.
"Yes you do!" i heard her say through giggles. Just at that moment, a notification lit up my screen:

"You're unbelievable" I said, looking up at her grinning. She replied by putting her phone down and giving me a cheeky smirk. After tagging Leah in the picture, i quickly pressed the add to story button and put my phone down on the table. I picked up my coffee and had a sip.
"So, any plans for the rest of the day?"i asked her. She looked up at me and shook her head.
"No... i'll probably just go home and watch Netflix" she said with a slight chuckle. "Do you have any plans?"
I placed my half-drank coffee back onto the table.
"I'm going to look at an apartment to rent out, so i'm not staying in that tiny hotel room for any longer." Leah started laughing at my response, shaking her head as she went to pick her hot chocolate up again.
"Send me pictures once you've been. I mean, that's if you like it, of course" she said before taking a sip out of her drink.
"I better like it because not only is my car overfilling with decorations, but my suitcase looks like it has exploded" I started ranting to her. "So if i don't like this one, i'll just live in that shit hotel room forever."
She shook her head while laughing.
"You're unbelievable"
I looked down at my phone to check the time: 15:30. I was meant to be at the apartment for half four, but it shouldn't be that far away from here, so i wasn't in much of a rush.

Half an hour had passed, both of our cups were empty but we didn't realise as we were too busy talking. I'm not quite sure what we talked about, but everything was so natural - i was so glad that she has asked me to come here with her, it felt like i was already making friends and it was only my first day. Unfortunately though, if i wanted to have my own apartment i would have to leave her.

After paying for the drinks, Leah and i had walked outside towards where our cars were parked, our conversation still going. We had reached the front of my small car as she stopped and looked at me.
"It was great meeting you, Isabella" She said with a small smile on her face.
"You can just call me Bella if you want, you know" I replied through a laugh. I didn't mind my name, but it was just a lot easier when people used Bella - it was a nicer name too, it suited me more.
"Okay, Bella" She said, over pronouncing my name. "I guess i will see you tomorrow morning"
I looked up at her and nodded.
"If you decide you like that apartment, you better send me photos." I laughed at her.
"Of course i will, don't worry about it." Suddenly, her arm wrapped around my shoulder as she brought me in for a hug. I quickly put my arm on her back out of reflex, reciprocating the embrace. For something that lasted only a single second, it felt like it was hours. It felt so safe to be there with her, she truly cared.
After a moment, we both pulled away. Sliding my hand into my pocket to find my car keys, i started to speak.
"I'll see you tomorrow then. Thank you for this." I pulled the keys out of my pocket and quickly pressed the button.
"Absolutely no bother, it was great getting to know you" she said as she turned to walk towards her car. "I'll see you later" i heard as i was opening my car door.
"Bye!" i quickly said as i got into my car and shut the door.

I didn't even have time to digest what had just happened, as i found myself typing the apartments location into google maps.
