After we had quickly dropped my bags off in an empty locker in the changing rooms (which i only seen for a second - but they looked so nice), Jonas led me outside towards one of the many astro football pitches. The training ground itself was amazing, the facilities were perfect and the pitches were to die for. Eventually, he opens the gate to where the girls were playing a mini match. I walk over to where the water bottles are on the floor and stand beside them, leaning back on the railing. I watched the girls intensely as they played football, i loved the way they played and the way the communicated - i was glad that i would be able to play alongside this. There was quite a few faces i recognised, like Katie McCabe. I had met her once or twice through Ruesha, she was lovely every time i had spoke to her, and she was an amazing footballer. Although, i had seen when she got angry, and that is definitely something i want to be on the receiving end of - but i'm not quite sure i'm that much better.
I had also met a few of the girls the day i had signed as they were getting minor treatment and came to introduce themselves to me.
All the players on this team were amazing, to the point i felt nervous to even play alongside them - how was i going to fit in here.

My train of thought was distracted as some supporting coaches had came over to introduce themselves to me. They were all lovely people who seemed so dedicated for the team - i was really excited to work with them.

I got snapped out of my thought by the sound of a whistle and peoples boots getting closer. I look over to Jonas as he started speaking loudly.
"Well done girls, great session. I will see you all tomorrow in the gym, but until then please introduce yourself to Isabella" he looked over to me and gave me a comforting smile.

Suddenly i felt an arm around my shoulder, as a familiar brown haired girl appeared by my side.
"Lovely to see you again, how have you been?" A strong Irish accent said. I looked over to see a smiling Katie McCabe speaking to me.
"I've been great thanks, a bit nervous but still, how are you?" I responded, everyone around us having small chatter, but looking over every once in a while.
"I'm great, Rue mentioned you were nervous - don't worry about it, we're all sound" she let out a little chuckle. "Although she is devastated that i now get to see you more than her"
I smiled, reciprocating the laughter, although a small bit inside of me was hurt. I would miss the girls so much, but i knew i could still see them whenever i missed them.

Another voice caught my attention.
"You can't keep her away from us forever" A small blonde says. Beth Mead. She was phenomenal - and definitely seemed like such a bubbly and happy person. I had looked up to her quite a bit because of the way she reads the game and her goals oaring abilities.
"No, i'm just kidding, it's great to meet you Isabella" She exclaimed, while bringing me in for a close hug.

This went on for a while, each girl individually coming to greet me and introduce themself. It made me feel special and cared for, the whole team was so loving and caring. Also, it's not every day i get to meet such amazing players who i've always idolised. Hopefully one day i will have this impact on somebody else.

We had gradually made our way into the changing rooms where all of the girls went and sat in front of their lockers. I headed over to the corner part of the empty bench that all my kit sat on and started to look through it. Small conversations sparked between the girls while they were all occupied getting changed.
I had spoke to most of the girls, they all seemed really funny, for once i couldn't wait for training so i could speak to them more.

"That's my favourite jacket" a calm voice said from beside me. I didn't even realise there was anybody there, but when i looked over, i seen a familiar blonde.
"Which one? This?" i replied, holding the three-quarter zip up in my hands. She let out a small laugh. "Yeah, that one, it's iconic. I've always loved Arsenal". Although i had never really supported any team besides Aston Villa, i feel i could get used to supporting Arsenal, everyone was welcoming - it was exactly what a team should be like.
"It is gorgeous, i can't wait to try it on later." i replied.
She looked up at me as i picked up an Arsenal-branded flask.
"Thank god they've gave me one of these, i would of never thought to buy one myself" i said to her, tossing the metal flask about in my hands.
"Are you a massive coffee drinker?" she asks with a smirk, looking up from her bag on the floor where she was packing her boots. I'm guessing she just wants to keep the conversation going so it doesn't get awkward.
"Hmmm. Not really, but i think i could do with a good coffee after the last couple of days - i can't find anywhere good"
Suddenly the blondes face lights up
"There's a small cafe not far from here, it's really nice. Heard the coffee is good too" she slouched back against the locker, her legs a slight bit apart. She still had a excited glimmer in her eye.
"So you've been to the cafe, but never had the coffee?" i said, a confused smile coming across my face as my head slowly tuned to look back at her. She chuckled softly. "I don't drink coffee"
"Tea?" i  quickly fired back, but she just shook her head while laughing.
"I just drink hot chocolate... it's better." She took a moment to think, her blue eyes looking up at me. "How about once i'm ready, i'll take you" she said calmly. I was not expecting that.

"That would be great"
