My name is Yui. This story begins in the summer of that year. That year my life changed.
It was a normal day for me and my friend, Yamato. Yamato and I had just turned 15 and we were now entering high school. Strangely enough... We were born on the same day, April 21st. We don't know our families. We are abandoned children. We were abandoned at a young age knowing nothing about our families, abandoned on a different day and month. The only thing our family left us was our names and birth dates.

Kaito Yui- Born: April 21st. Sasaki Yamato- Born: April 21st.

They left us at an orphanage, our families were then made there. There, I met Yamato, and there Yamato met me. Being the same age me and Yamato quickly got along and became best friends. From then on our friendship took off. We did everything together. We convinced the orphanage ladies to sign us both up to something we both wanted to do, sword lessons. We began our sword lessons on a hunch. The samurai T.V. Show got our attention. We began lessons at the age of 7 and continued from then on. Yamato and I practiced with 2 swords. I mean it was pretty casual, we learned to use 1 sword by the time we were 11 and decided to become badasses that could use 2 swords. And we quickly became exactly what we dreamed of being 2 badasses that could use 2 swords. Well, enough about us! Let's get back to what happened on that fate filled day.
"Yui!! Found you!" I was playing hide and seek with the younger children from the orphanage. "Jeez, you kids are starting to memorize my hiding spots." I said laughing. "It's because Yui can't think of other places to hide!" They all said. "Ehh?! It's not that I can't think of any places it's because there is no where else to hide." "Yeah, yeah, Yui come on it's your turn to count! Hehehe" they all said while glancing evily as they pushed me towards the door. "I'm going, I'm going, jeez just as I planted my head on the door to begin counting, the door opened and instead my head planted on an unknown chest. "Uhh, Yui what are you doing?" I know this voice!... "Yamato! Sorry, I'll move after I count to 20. 1,2,3,4,5" "Oi! I'm not wall! Listen to what I'm saying!" Yamato said blushing angrily. "Yea, yea, 15,16,17,18,19, and 20! Here I come!!" I turned away from Yamato to go look for the kids but Yamato grabbed me from the shoulders and stopped me, he then yelled "SORRY GUYS, ITS TIME FOR OUR LESSON, I'LL BE TAKING YUI!" He grabbed my hand and began running towards the dojo, taking me with him. All the children came out of their hiding spots "EHHH?! No fair Sasaki-niisan!" The children yelled at Yamato. Yamato yelled back "SORRY!" and laughed. I began laughing too "next time let me tell them" "no way! If you did it they'd convince you to stay with them" he replied "Eh?! No way... It was a one time thing " I replied sulky. "Yea, yea, come on! We're gonna be late." We finally made it to the dojo, as expected, we were punished for being late. "YOU'RE LATE!" Sensei yelled. " Sorry Sensei" we both said. "Sorry doesn't cut it!" "Sensei, we're only 2 minutes late..." "T-t-tw-tw-two minutes late?! Only two minutes?!" Punishment trial: Yui vs Yamato! I repeat Yui vs Yamato!" Sensei replied smiling. "Ehh? Sensei! That's absurd!" We both said. "Yeah! She's a girl I couldn't possibly fight her!" Yamato said. Then realizing what he said he turned around shivering... I was in the corner of the room bent down and sulking "So I'm a girl... That's why you can't fight me... So I have to be a man for you to take me seriously..." I continued mumbling to myself. Sensei and Yamato looked at each other nervously and whispered " oh no she got like that again. " "Yamato go it's your fault for saying something like that!" "No,no,no! It's your fault you ordered the duel!" "Fine, rock, paper, scissors"

Sensei won. " Haiiii, goodluck Yamato" he said happily skipping away. Yamato thought 'Damn you!' Yamato walked up to me nervously "...Yui, you know I didn't mean it that way." He said gently. "Yes, I know you wish I were a man" I turned away sulking. "No, that's not it. I promise." He said smiling nervously. " that's not it huh?! It's not it?!" Yamato started trembling and sweating buckets. I grabbed his wrist angrily " YOU WILL DUEL ME! YOU GOT THAT MR. SASAKI-SAN?!" Yamato sweating buckets agreed in a whisper "WHAT WAS THAT?!" Yamato then sunk to his knees and said in a trembling voice "Hai..." "Really? That's great we're on the same page" I said smiling then walked away happily and began to get ready. As Yamato got up slowly, Sensei laughed at him from across the room and Yamato glared at him. Yamato walked up to Sensei... "She's scary" "I know, I have no idea where she gets that from" they both stare at me and I smile back at them and wave. They turn away whispering to each other "Well Yamato, good luck don't die" "No promises" he walked away nervously and began to get ready for the duel.
