Chapter 3 What Happens Now?

I opened my eyes. I could see nothing, it was too dark. I sat up and looked around. I was laying down on a bed and Yamato was on the other side of the room sleeping in another bed. I wondered 'Where the hell are we?'. I removed the blankets from on top of me and stood and observed the room more. It was a small square room. There was 2 beds on each side of the room, the only thing separating the beds was 2 night stands with a large window above them. The door was also in between the beds, there was light under to door shining in, that and the moonlight was the only source of light coming in that small room. I went and tried to wake Yamato, at first whispering his name but for some reason he didn't wake up like usual. I started to say his name louder and shook him harder. Yamato began opening his eyes but he was still very drowsy. The door flung open and a big man walked in and saw me shaking Yamato hardly. I panicked and let go of Yamato and the big man pushed me to ground and pointed a sword at my neck. Yamato was now fully awake and got up and tackled the big man down. Once the sword fell I was able to breath again. I started heading towards the door and dragged Yamato with me but, we were stopped. "Halt, where do you think you're going?" A woman blocking the doorway said. "Move!!" I yelled. Yamato gripped my wrist tightly. The big man picked up his sword and pointed it at Yamato's neck. "HEY YOU BIG BLOB! What are you doing to my students?!" The unknown woman said. "I'm sorry malady, my anger took over." The big man said as he bowed. Me and Yamato startled said "Students?". "Ahh, yes! I was just coming over here to explain everything to you two!" The woman said. "I'm Kushina. I'll be your teacher starting today". "Teacher? Where are we?!" We both said. "Ah uhmm, do you remember that creature that chased after you two? Those are called Akumas (demons). I was supposed to get you guys from the orphanage, but the plans changed a bit. As you both know, you two don't know your parents. But you two are special. Your blood is special, you two will become hunters." Kushina said. "Hunters?! Special blood?! What's going on?!" We both asked. "Hunters, a hidden organization. Normal humans haven't heard of us. Hunters hunt down the Akumas and try to exterminate them all. As for special blood... Your blood is special, you two are able to do magical things that no ordinary human would be able to do. You'll learn more about this later on. As for what's going on is, you two have been recruited to Hunters Academy where I, Kushina will be your Sensei. It's a pleasure to you, Yui and Yamato." Both me and Yamato are too shocked to even reply. 'Special blood? Our families were hunters? What happened to them? What's going to happen to us?' The same questions kept coming up to both Yamato and I. "Big blob over here will show you to your rooms." Kushina said and she smacked the big man's back. "I have a name you know." The big man replied. "Yea yea get going will ya!" Kushina said laughing as she walked out. I ran out to the hallway to ask her one more thing but she was gone. I decided to ask the big man. "Uhmm.... You big guy... Uh-" "My name is Sosuke, it's a pleasure meeting you too." Sosuke now said. "Ah, Sosuke is it? Uhmm was the orphanage informed of this?" I asked. "Of course, the academy has taken care of the paperwork and everything." I sighed. Yamato grabbed my hand and held it. I blushed and looked at him, Yamato was also blushing "so we don't get lost" Yamato said while covering his blushing face with the other hand. "...hai" I said while I turned and faced forward hiding my red face. "Come you two, I'll be showing you to your dorms. I will drop you off there and there should be someone waiting to show you to your room." Sosuke said. "Dorms?" Yamato asked. "Yes, you two are not the only students." Sosuke replied. Afterwards Sosuke took us to the men's dorm first and dropped off Yamato. Sosuke now showed me to the women's dorm and soon left. Just as he said there was the dorm leader waiting for me. I stood at the gate of the dorm and looked up at the large building. 'What will happen to us Yamato?'.
